Yale has the Avalon Project with ALL the documents that made America, with God in them. It is fantastic if you need a document to prove God was in all of our founding fathers.

Great article except for the "invented penicillin" bit.

The writer has obviously never heard of Fleming or Duchesne or Florey.

Read the comments to this story (Yale Daily News):

“How did you get into college, with that feeble mind?”
“I guess it should refreshing to be reminded that getting into (and out of) Yale is no indication that one is at all logical.”
“Glad to know people like Moore (any relation to Ann Coulter) will keep the hate, the divisiveness, and the fear that we’ve grown so accustomed to over the past 8 years around for a little longer de(in)spite America’s call to change.”

Etc., etc.!

We have been ushered into a time where the selfish, the entitled, the lazy, the weak and the cowardly are idolized and rewarded...

(i.e., the exact same people who voted him into office)

"No republic has long outlived the discovery by a majority of its people that they could vote themselves largesse from the public treasury."

- Alexander Tytler

"You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot further the brotherhood of many by encouraging class hatred. You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than you earn. You cannot build character and courage by taking away mans initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves."

- Abraham Lincoln

I’ll first start off, before even reading the article, by saying I thought it was Michael Moore.

Now I’ll read the article.

Given that the USA has evidently forgotten that it is a Constitution-based republic as opposed to a dictatorship, USA citizens deserved to tremble in their shoes at the thought of misguided Socialist Obama running the country.

Again, if USA citizens would demand that constitutionally clueless Obama respects the limited powers delegated to the federal government by the Constitution that he has hypocritically sworn to defend, Obama would arguably be a lame duck president before he even takes the oath of office.

“On our country’s most fateful Christmas in 1776, Gen. George Washington rallied troops into wooden boats under the command cry of “Victory or Death.” Sleet and hail clung...”

That reminds me - Christmas is coming. I sure hope I get my gov’t check in time for that big-screen TV I have my eye on!

If you know anything about the political atmosphere in New Haven, Connecticut, it is redolent with the stench of Progressivism, the distilled essence of which may be found eroding the ivied walls of Yale.

A true act of courage consists not of heeding the dares of a mad and sycophantic crowd but of denying them their satisfaction and rebuking them besides. I suspect the author will be made to pay for her apostasy. But for a young person, such courage as hers is rare and is to be encouraged.

Bravo.

Holy heaven, this girl’s oratory makes Obama’s speech — by comparison — seem like the mouthing’s of a baby!

Elizabeth Moore for President?

So we’ll push back from the gates of Hell, open up a path away from their mob, then push them against the gate.
