Clearly.

If a truth-teller is a “lousy candidate” these days it says more about the hearers than the truth-teller.

But, I remain firm in my belief that there is still a mighty moral plurality in this country who care about the truth.

If we can unify and focus that power, the republic can still be saved.

Doing that is the only hope for saving the country.

It’s SO upsetting. I was raised dirt poor and attended a school that was about 30% black, mostly very poor too. My best friend in jr. high was a black girl who came from money...she got teased to high hell for being “white,” i.e. being in honors classes, speaking properly, and not dating ghetto trash. She slowly pulled away from us in a effort to “fit in,” but never quite made it. I think high school was very lonely for her.

I digress...my original point was going to be that people are so blind! Who benefits from keeping poor people poor? Democrats! I get so mad listening to them talk about making college more affordable. I didn’t have ANY money from my parents, and I made it on loans, grants, and working my way through.

We have to find a way to educate the poor and the college kids to realize that WE are the ones who actually help for the long term. We don’t throw you $5 and thank you for your vote; we are interested in helping people move up and stay up. And the educating needs to start now.

Rest assured — the bills and bitching will continue, FOREVER.

The bills and bitching will last as long the guy being asked to pay the bill and being bitched at takes it. A good beginning would be to tell Jesse, Al and their ilk to p!ss up a rope.

As I said..... it will continue FOREVER.

The Leftists and general run of the mill assholes have been patting the Jacksons, Sharptons, Farrakhans and Obamas on their nappy heads and actually listening to the poverty pimping racist charlatans for so long - the clowns are beginning to believe their own scam!

I think a great equalizer is on its way. I have thought and said for a long time that America is too affluent for its own well-being. That is morally and ethically. It is hard to give a lot of credence to the race pimp when you’re having trouble putting enough food on the table. America is busted now, and spending the money in the cookie jar. Actually, making promises based on money that should be in the cookie jar but isn’t.

I am 62. I doubt I will ever see prosperity like it was at its peak, just before the crumbling set in. That doesn’t mean we won’t have good lives, however. Just fewer ipods, blackberrys, boats, Ariz winters, $50 nail jobs, etc.

What happened to the real black leaders? I can even appreciate a later-years Malcolm X better than these modern-day whiney victim-mentality extortionists. Of course I disagree with Malcolm X on much, but at least his philosophy was to get up off your ass and do something to make your own life better.

I never had any guilt either. My parents came to the US in 1948. Pops worked two blue collar union jobs (railroad, post office) over a 35 year period. In the late 1960’s he took the civil service exam trying to go from the railroad (which was dying at the time) to the post office. Despite a good score, he was passed over for minority applicants with lower scores. Eventually he got in. He was smart enough to know that education was the key to success. My two sisters and I have three bachelors degrees and three masters degrees between us and are doing pretty well in America. I guess that is the real American dream.... We all had to overcome affirmative action to get into college and grad school... Yeah, no guilt at all....

OH MY FRIEND!!!! don't get me started on the minority applicant garbage.

I am retired Army. What actually happened was I enlisted and did my first three years, went to Nam, got wounded, rehabbed, went to Germany and patrolled the East-West border. Then I got out of the Army.

So, I go home, enrolled in the junior college and since I was 21, I could put in for the police department. So, I go to the city civil service board and sign up. Get the call, go take the test, get my score later and told I am like #4 on the list. Then a couple of weeks later get another letter and AM TOLD THE TEST IS NULL AND VOID!! Why???? NO BLACKS PASSED THE TEST!!! They said that they were REQUIRED to hire one black for EVERY one white they hired!!! So, month or two later, took the test again. Again passed and was like #2 on the list. GUESS WHAT?? You get only one guess. RIGHT, no blacks passed it again and once again the darn test was tossed out. So, third time is a charm, right? WRONG. Passed it the 3d time and was like #2 on the list again. BUT NO BLACKS COULD PASS THE DAMNED TEST!!!! EVERY stinking one, in every test, FAILED!!!

By that time I had had it. The local recruiter, whom I knew, had been calling me and trying too get me to come back into the Army. I was sick of civilian life, civilian hiring practices, the garbage of it, and knowing that I was happier in the military than I was at trying to HOPE some black guy in our town would pass the test, I just said to hell with it. I missed being in the Army, I am going back. I reupped, got my sergeant E-5 stripes back, got a signing bonus, and picked my post of assignment. Chose Fort Campbell, KY and the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and did my other 17 years. HAD my attempts to get into the police department been successful, I might have been a city cop all those years and would not have done a military career. But, in the end, it turned out the best for me, because I actually enjoyed being in the service and not patrolling the ghetto rousting drunks and druggies.

I come from a state with 40% black population and lived in black countries most of my adult life till 10 years ago.

Unlike most perpetually indignant freepers, I got over white guilt by the early 70s and around 19 years of age

Guilt is a selfish emotion.

For real pain try shame.

A black teenage girl shoots to death the white teenage girl at school.. Is this going to be a new trend? What was behind the shooting I wonder...
