Even before the election, with the realization that a Barack Obama presidency lay on the horizon, many saw a silver lining in the cloud that drifted into Washington, DC, from the left coast. "The right will be re-energized," many thought, "and we'll have a better Republican candidate and improved prospects in 2012." Moreover, it was figured that Obama will exacerbate a bad situation, causing a meltdown in our economy and emboldening enemies without and within, thereby creating fertile ground for a Republican victory. Of course, the GOP nominee may in fact be better four years hence, although he is far more likely to be so in terms of persona than policy. But his prospects are a different matter.
No one likes the bearer of bad news, but, in this case, to render good news would be to offer bad prognostication. Frankly, I don't see anything short of divine or devilish intervention (and the latter favors the president-elect) that will prevent Obama from being a two-term president.

He raised $750 million as a candidate. I shudder to think what he will raise as an incumbent ... !
He will have to forestall reparations until or if he has a 2nd term, as reparations in the 1st term will kill a 2nd term.
Hispanics may not be the answer.
The U.S. standard of living will be inferior to Mexico's so the Hispanics may not stay here to give THE ONE the necessary votes.
Over half the money he raised was illegal funds from the mid-east. We will never have a free election here again in my lifetime.
2008 election was stolen by the left. Obama said he is ready to “rule” from day one.
After even one year of this, how much money will be left and who will care, overseas.
The crashing economy lowers demand for the ME’s only export. They had all their profits in the stock market or real estate ventures or gold. They will need to use what they have left to shore up their own economies. All asset classes have taken hits.
We end up with the super rich, the very poor and a kulak class defined as anyone who still owns anything.
They are going to get their one world, but it is an impoverished one that will not grow until we restore capitalism and a democratic republic with honest elections.
It is like watching a train wreck. It took so short a time and such little effort to destroy what so many had taken so long to build. We are all still in shock and moving through the stages of grief.
When elections are not honest, no one is bound to honor the results.
And the left will continue to do even more damage so they can take even more of our freedoms.
We will be nothing more than slaves to the collective.
But I never see any proposed solutions.
Are you actually trying to get others to surrender as well?
I always question the motives of people who seem bent on demoralizing everyone around them.
He’s a shoo-in for 2012. The only way we can win in 2012, is, God forbid, a massive attack on the homeland where he does not take decisive action.
But I have a question.
Why should it be just the Alinsky-Ayers-Dohrn rules. Let's give the "Fairness Doctrine" a test run with the indoctrination of Obama's volunteer civilian peoples' police corps -- the barakracy some people have labeled it.
All the more reason to remove oneself as far and as much as possible to places they will save for last because there are few people and fewer resources there.
At some point, we will have anarchy in the major urban areas and it will extend to the exurbs. They are going to be very busy securing those enclaves for quite some time.
After they have destroyed everything and are holding an empty bag, with no more loot to pay off the thugs who got them elected, their own chances are going to be slim.
Slaves are expensive to maintain. At some point, they will simply start killing folks off to reduce the costs. At that point, the slaves have nothing left to lose. History has a lot of examples of slave revolts.
Those who left, dug in, geo-cached and are self-sufficient might just have a chance to reorganize after the fall.
This horrible travesty is going to fail in such a huge way that it may even make the entire concept of state control a hanging offense. I am probably not going to live to see a complete restoration, but I expect to have to survive the disintegration that will precede it. We have been expecting this since the 70s, so, hopefully, we are wrong this time, as well, and all we will have to remember is the fear as we looked over the abyss, instead of the terror of the plunge.
Hope for the best, plan for the worst.
I don’t think he has the nuts to last four years he will get sick or get pressured out of office.
The demographics of this country are changing rapidly. By 2023 half of all children 18 and under will be minorities and by 2042, half of the country will be minorities.
Immigrants account for one in eight U.S. residents, the highest level in 80 years. In 1970 it was one in 21; in 1980 it was one in 16; and in 1990 it was one in 13. In a decade, it will be one in 7, the highest in our history and by 2050, it will be one in 5. Immigrants vote Dem as do minorities.
The largest increases in immigrants were in California, Florida, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, Arizona, Virginia, Maryland, Washington, Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Watch for these states to start turning purple or a deeper shade of blue. Demography is destiny.
That is , of course, if there are elections in 2012. Remember,he is ready to rule from the first day in office :-)
