His stomach has swollen even more to the point of pushing on his lungs so he is on oxygen.
They tried to relieve the pressure yesterday by using a ridged plastic tube but that was not successful so today they are going to perform Colonoscopy which they hope by the aid of the camera they can untwist something that has slightly twisted inside which they believe happened when he started to swell more from Thursday onwards as earlier scans and xrays have never before shown this.
He is being prepared for this now with enemas etc. Visiting is 11.00am to 1.00pm and then 3.00pm to 8.00pm so my friend Michael is picking me up in about 10 minutes to take me up to the hospital.
I will give update when I return tonight.
Sorry I did not yesterday but I just crashed out after eating as I had not slept properly for about 4 days.
