A bunch of apartments in San Diego were grabbed for section 8 housing. All of them subsidized well below the market value of neighboring apartments in the same development. It trashed property values and the "occupants" were uniformly people with criminal records and constant drug involvement. Another liberal "success". Roger Hedgecock lambasted them for weeks.
