After airing an interview clip of Sarah Palin telling Fox News' Greta Van Susteren that she was looking for guidance from God about running for national office again, an appalled Chris Matthews called it "troubling," when he let loose this rant on Tuesday's "Hardball":
Is, is this commentary about theocracy and going to God for approval? We've been through that with President Bush who said he, "didn't take advice from his father, he got it from another father." And we've been through this sort of Joan of Arc period. Are we gonna get another piece of this where God's leading candidates to run for president? I mean that sort of keeps us out of the conversation doesn't it? I mean, seriously, I mean God is telling her to run? And she's saying it openly on a secular television show? This isn't the religious hour....Talking about God, in a political setting is troubling to a lot of people. If you're talking about a big tent, this looks more like the church tent, not the big tent.
Then a little later in the program, Matthews returned to Palin's expressions of faith and noted that kind of talk can be,"dangerous." And when his guest, former Dick Cheney aide Ron Christie, said he was tired of the media picking on Palin when, in fact, Joe Biden made a lot of blunders, Matthews let this howler fly: "Joe Biden took more hits from the media than anybody for the last 30 years!"

This reminds me of some Deacons in a small Southern Baptist church I attended for awhile. They talked a good talk, called others on the carpet when their gossipy wives nagged and they always voted their pocketbook.
ANYONE here have his email address? I think its about time we all write to him.
What is his problem with God?
Matthews talking about Palin is troubling.
This asshat has a TV show? How many people watch it? Three, on a good night?
Whereas Louis Farrakhan declaring Barack Obama to be a God-given leader is inspiring.
Matthews has some serious mental "issues". He was last complaining about the way Sarah Palin waved to the crowds on the campaign.
Matthews talking about anything at all is troubling.
The man is clearly in need of mental health treatment.
Please, dear Lord, tell me this bozo is not a Catholic. If he is Catholic, then I am the Pope. I’ll bet Matthews has not been to Mass since his First Communion. I’ll wager he is an apostate. I cannot state what I think about this smarmy twirp, only because I would get hit with the inzotorator... ARRRRGGGHHH!!!!
This is the same Chris Matthews who was not troubled by Obama’s 20-year association with Jeremiah Wright.
So Chris Mathews is saying that he is not a Christian? God commands us to pray and seek his guidance.
Matthews and Olberman have a bet with each other on who can get fired first. ;)
NBC still in disarray without Russert.
Matthews doesn’t have a problem with “No no no no no, not
God Bless America, God *#&@ America”. That doesn’t scare him.
Don't worry. The demons always screech the loudest when they're about to be cast out.
Matthews can best serve humanity canned and shipped to North Korean children.
The election may be over, but liberal bias inflicted upon us will NOT easily, if ever, be forgotten. Advertisers on these networks (and in printed media) increasingly support the causes of activist organizations instead of representing all US citizens as a whole. Others close US plants and expect us to buy products they manufacture globally (but not in the USA). Eventually It will all come back to bite them in the butt IMHO.

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
Nah, bashing Sarah Palin and/or religion is a resume enhancement over at MSNBC.
Not the new guy...
