"The battle for equal rights has reached a major milestone, but Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream of full equality remains just a dream as long as unborn children continue to be treated no better than property," she added.

Dr. Alveda King is the true and rightful heir to her uncle's legacy.

I have heard this woman speak on EWTN with refreshing honesty. How about a Time magazine cover story for her?

Amazing how Obama can throw the dream of MLK under that bus too....

How can he square his abortion position (which to many amounts to Slavery of the UNBORN a civil rights fight) with the history of oppressed Americans?

While Obama has talked about reducing abortions and entering into common ground discussions about abortions involving both sides of the debate, King says his rhetoric and record don't match and that Obama will increase abortions as president.

Ouch, that's gonna leave a mark.

I guess over the years the Reverend part of Dr. King's salutation has been misplaced. It's refreshing to see that some have not forgotten he was a devout Christian leader.

Obama's pro-abortion platform sure fulfills Margaret Sanger's dream. Specifically: "fewer brown people."

Thank God that some blacks truly recognize the attack on their race brought by abortion.

It’s more than abortion.

King’s dream of a country where men are judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin crashed and burned this election.

Those he was trying most to help apparently felt that the color of skin is the most important thing, even if the person is only 1/8 black.

IMO — once Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. knew 0bama’s position on abortion and gay marraige, cloning, euthanasia, embryonic research, he would do everything he could to fight against him. Just like his niece is.
