An American journalist was kidnapped by Taliban militants in the Afghan province of Logar, located 60 kilometres south of the capital Kabul. David Rohde, a journalist working for the US daily The New York Times, was abducted along with his driver and interpreter by a Taliban group known as Siraj Haqqani and has been taken to eastern Afghanistan, sources told Adnkronos International (AKI).
War-torn Afghanistan has seen a surge in kidnappings of foreigners by Taliban militants recently. On Monday, Canadian journalist Mellissa Fung was freed in Kabul after being held in captivity for four weeks by militants.

(I'm ashamed of myself for supporting McCain, but I still love Sarah Palin.)

I am trying to feel sympathetic about a paid agent for a professional liars organization dedicated to the destruction of the USA.
Trying....

Shouldn’t be a problem, since the Times always sides with the enemy. He’s probably having tea and crumpets as we speak...

Have no fear, Obama will negotiate the reporter’s release. He just has a way with words, ya know what I mean?

It’s probably a fake abduction, cooked up by the NY Times in cooperation with the Taliban.

Prays he does not wind up like Daniel Pearl. Most definitely. Prayers for him and his family.
To: Dog
They kidnapped an ally of theirs?

Good.
Hopefully, it teaches at least this slimeball to have some respect for the US military.

10 bucks says that he will not consider US torture “too much” after his stay with the Taliban.

I'm not familiar with his work. I wish him well either way though.
I sincerely hope they're not hoping to ransom him to the NY Times. They're as broke as Gary Coleman on a bender.

N Y [Sl}IMES?
Not to worry, they probably just want to bestow some high official recognition or award, and perhaps make him an honorary member.
