The Federal Election Commission is unlikely to conduct a potentially embarrassing audit of how Barack Obama raised and spent his presidential campaigns record-shattering windfall, despite allegations of questionable donations and accounting that had the McCain campaign crying foul.
Adding insult to injury for Republicans: The FEC is obligated to complete a rigorous audit of McCains campaign coffers, which will take months, if not years, and cost McCain millions of dollars to defend.

Be vigilant -- be prepared to strike fast. We may only get one chance. That chance came and went on Nov 4, 2008.
Now is the time to work toward 2010 and 2012, and pretend that voting will still be allowed.

“I think you are correct. Everything about Obamas campaign seems to lead to the idea the man is bought and paid for by some wealthy coalition.”
Obama was merely a “vessel” for the hard left millionaires to take the White House and implement their agenda.
He will govern as a figurehead. We have the first “Useful Idiot” president.

I think this is THE most important issue for conservatives now — auditing the Obama campaign.
I think it stands to effect all future campaigns.

But then, a fool and his money are soon parted. He took public financing. A fool and MY money are soon parted.

for no one to even look at where all that money came from I'm sure they'll get to it, right after they finish the investigation into who was responsible for the housing collapse.

Obama reneges on his "promise" to accept presidential campaign funds (and limits) and gets $200M delivered via questionable internet donations and the FEC says "Oh well".
McCain keeps his promise to accept presidential campaign funds (and limits) and gets an anal exam from the FEC for the next ten years.
This from the article: "Obama is expected to escape that level of scrutiny...because the sheer volume of cash he raised and spent minimizes the significance of his errors."
We live in he f*ing twilight zone! Our enemies have got to be laughing their asses off.

Bush should issue an Executive Order calling for the Audit. But...that would spoil eight years of highly productive "new tone" govenment.

Why bother? Obama would just issue an Executive Order negating Bushs order, on Jan. 20th.Sort of like assuming the courts would overturn an unconstitutional law, so that makes it A-OK to sign?

I for one am glad we can all go back to bashing McCain. It was really hard during the election to be enthusiastic about him. If it werent for Palin... "To make honey, young bee need young flower, not old prune." /Mr. Miyagi, "The Karate Kid"

Can’t this be independently challenged?

come on now ! Obama pledged to take public financing if republican would. He even signed his name to pledge. He backed out. Mccain could have backed out too. But he didnt he gave his word and signed his name. honor does not seem to be a virtue anymore, giving your word means nothing

What’s disgusting on veterans day is how many america hating so called conservatives spat at our troops and took a dump on Reagan’s grave by staying home or voting for Obama.

It’s a good thing the Cubs didn’t win the world series. That combined with this would have me convinced the world was going to end.
But the true 7th sign is when the boys in blue from the city on the lake win it all.

Your right about the BHO intentionally disabling the Address Verification System on his visa processing.
Screw the FEC, Bush's DOJ should launch into BHO's massive credit card fraud and make a lot of noise through the Conservative Media Outlets as he inserts the special prosecutor suppository into Barack's darker regions.
If Bush does not investigate this he is failing to hold up his side of checks and balances.
