BUSH ANGER: OBAMA AIDES LEAK CHAT DETAILS
Drudge Report ^ | 11/11/2008 | Drudge

Just hours after President Bush and President-elect Obama met in the Oval Office of the White House, details of their confidential conversation began leaking out to the press, igniting anger from the president, sources claim.

"Senator Obama would be wise to keep close counsel," a top Bush source warned.

"BUSH AND OBAMA AT ODDS OVER AID FOR AUTO INDUSTRY," splashed the NEW YORK TIMES in an exclusive Monday evening, quoting "people familiar with the discussion."

The two met at the White House in private, without staff.

"Bush indicated at the meeting that he might support some aid and a broader economic stimulus package if Obama and congressional Democrats dropped their opposition to a free-trade agreement with Colombia," claimed the TIMES.

The ASSOCIATED PRESS quickly followed with details of the conversation, citing "aides who described the discussion on grounds of anonymity, citing the private nature of the meeting."

Bush advisers view the leaks as an effort to undermine the president's remaining days in office.

"Senator Obama may not be familiar with a long-standing tradition of presidents holding their private conversations, private," a senior adviser explained to the DRUDGE REPORT.

No wonder Obama never wrote an article for the Law Review when he was editor. Maybe he wrote one but it was not accepted for publication.

How embarrassing to have a President with poor grammar.

Well, BO has now failed 2 presidential tests in less than a week.

1. Snide remarks about Nancy Reagan - which were inaccurate, to boot.

2. leaking information from a confidential conversation with the POTUS — there is no way other presidents will now share any wisdom with him in the future and, worse, world leaders will deliberately lie to him, as well.

It is becoming increasingly evident that BO is way over his paygrade and, worse, easily subject to manipulation by aides.

Houston, we have a problem.

This might be a silly question but the Oval office carpet used to be blue. When did it change to the current cream color?

Probably after President Bush was sworn in, since Lord only knows what the blue carpet was stained with after Clinton.

“Who will he give the finger to in his first public address as President?”

The American People, especially the White ones. Sorry, seems just that way.

Great Job, America — you have “elected” this smirking, vicious, dishonest, untrustworthy POS, and now we will get to see this kind of spectacle over and over again.....

Unless he suddenly figures out that allies won’t trust a President who can’t be trusted.

After 8 years of a scandal-free, fairly leak-proof administration, I hope the American people are ready for constant drama again. Hopefully the Obozos don’t screw things up so badly that a GOP Congress in 2010 or POTUS in 2012 can’t get things right again.

"Obama may wear nice suits and speak well, but his lack of experience shows in small ways like this and in larger ways like the clear shock he had during his first security briefing."

Actually he READS well!! Without his teleprompter - he stutters & is a terrible speaker.

He is pretty stupid & without his speech writers - he has no clue!

Not a typo. I had to look it up the other day. It descibes him perfectly.

One other thing-that little quip the other day about
Nancy Reagan-Gees. I thought that was so hill billy-ish.
Mean spirited-tacky. Even if you really wanted to poke
at the conservatives or the Repubs at least you could
go after someone other than an ex first lady in her
elderly years? Yeegads. Tacky, white trashish, yick.
What was he thinking????

Of course they leaked it. If they can use the leak for political purposes, they’ll use it. This is the way Dems play the game, i.e. in an underhanded and unprincipled manner. To quote Walter Cronkite, “That’s the way it is.”

“It is becoming increasingly evident that BO is way over his paygrade and, worse, easily subject to manipulation by aides.”

You are too kind to call them ‘aides’, since many of them are marxists, terrorists and thugs.

So let me understand this. W has been maligned, insulted, belittled, been wiped across the floor, called names even kids on the playground do not use, ignored, called a liar and a whole host of other things and he is pissed about this? Get a grip George.
