Obama at least once said he planned to do away with our air defense artillery- which IMO would be a huge mistake. Any way I guess by his logic if we don’t have ADA we can’t promise to send any to Poland or anywhere else.
What happened to “yes we can”?
Those are whiteys issues. I've got redistribution and reparations to worry about.
I think he believes all our missle defense systems to be unproven. This all goes back to the dims making fun of Reagan for having the vison to see that such a thing would be valuable in defense of this country. Is our missle system perfect? Probably not- but we need to keep building and improving on the system, not scrap it. The first rockets we fired didn’t make it to the moon either, I guess Obama would have given up on that too.
Will American’s even care if Ukraine, Poland, etc., all fall back under Putin? I will care, many here will care... but will self-centered hand out American’s care?

That was funny. I haven’t laughed that hard all day... unfortunately, they probably think that way..
French President Nicolas Sarkozy: "Obama's an empty suit on foreign policy."

Well Obama, look at it this way. In a few years Iran will be able to nuke several large cities in the northeast and along the eastern seaboard. With those pesky, costly cities out of the way that should reduce your "domestic priorities." Oh, BTW, Washington DC will soon be within range of the next generation Iranian missiles. You and your family sleep well now...
Any delay would delight a resurgent Russia, which has described the plan as an affront to its national security and has threatened to place missiles near Poland in retaliation.
You know that is all just political smoke from Russia. Anyone with a globe who has bothered to look up anything on how the GMD program (Ground-based Mid-course Defense) works can pretty quickly figure out that 10 interceptors on the east side of Russia is zero threat to their ICBMs. Russian ICBMs aimed at the US travel north out of Asia, over the pole, and down over Canada to the US. Take your globe and a piece of string, pull it tight from launch site to target and that is a decent approximation of ground path. The real path is slightly curved due to rotation of the Earth, but with flight times on the order of 30 min, we're only talking about 7.5 degrees variation. Now look at the potential interceptor launch site in eastern Europe. Notice that even if the Russians called and said "Hey, American dogs, we're launching on you right now!" our interceptors would be in a tail-chase and never catch the warheads, let alone have the relative closing velocity needed to kill them. But forget physics, lets talk simple math. Russia has over 700 launchers. (http://www.nrdc.org/nuclear/nudb/datab4.asp) Do the math: 700 missiles, 10 interceptors. We could build the interceptor site on the North Pole and it wouldn't make any useful difference.
The Russians have their own reasons for increasing tensions with the west. If it wasn't missile defense, they would manufacture some other issue. We cannot let our safety relative to a very real threat be jeopardized by political maneuvers in another country.
...Obama had reiterated his long-standing position supporting the deployment of the missile shield but only when the "technology is proved to...
I keep thinking that is his "out" back to reality. Once he is cleared and gets a "real" briefing on the system's capabilities he can claim it is "proven" to work. Of course, being a political animal he'll wait 6 to 10 months, then have a democratic congress and commission claim "victory" and that their heroic leadership has turned around the Missile Defense Agency and then they'll (try to) take credit for all the hard work that led up to this point.
Most of them don’t know where to find them on a map....
sad, but true.
By cutting investments in unproven anti-missile systems, just think how much more the rest of the world will like us.
Nobody likes it when you put up a shield to defend yourself and your friends from attack. Real unpopular, that is.
Giant Sign Waved Back and Forth: Hey Enemies, any of you, go ahead and kick me!
This is just the beginning. Just wait till the National Civilian Defense Force (Gestapo) comes pounding on your door at 3AM
One consolation is that Nancy Pelosi’s district will be ground zero for North Korean nuclear missiles.
Hussein is an enemy of America since earliest days, and means to cripple us.
He has a triple animus: 1) he carries his early Muslim training (reciting the Koran in Arabic, family heritage); 2) he reflects his grandfather's Communism, his mother's, his mentor Davis' (friend of his grandfather, fellow cell member); 3) he is scarred by twenty years of black liberation poison from Wright from Cone, that America must be punished.
We do not have merely a president skeptical of technology; we have a president virulently against American success.
Revolution is his life's work--that's what Davis, Ayers, Wright, Alinsky do.
And he is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Soros, the Saudi prince, the powers behind the dark hundreds of millions of campaign dollars, the shadow group which put him through Harvard.
There is nothing of Hussein which we may safely take at face value.
He has no basic sympathy for the unique historic destiny of this nation.
Per Communism and Islam and Black Liberation Theology, America is the Great Satan and jihad or revolution or racial justice is the duty of every human being.
This is a European issue, not an American one.
The one good thing that Obama can do is get us out of NATO and let Europe handle their own defense issues.
We’re waiting for the development of the situation.
What else we can do about this? This is an American project.
I hope Obama will find it “proven” finally.
Here we go...this worthless POS is gonna GIVE it up.
