If you watched the campaign closely, you saw Piper Palin often at her Mother’s side. I have no idea what will happen in the Governor’s future…but Piper? She may end up President! Check out some of the pics of her:

Did anyone else hear Nancy Reagan offered support to both Sarah Palin and Cindy McCain through this ordeal? My mom said she heard that.

BTW, Greta was on O’reilly this morning on radio. Deb, I concede to your better judgment. She tried her best to tell him he believed rumors from Cameron. BOR admitted they might have been lies, but they were NOT rumors....he’s really gone nuts.
If there is any bright side to the loss is Piper will have a normal childhood or much more normal than would have been the case.
I feel bad for Obama’s girls. I know someone who teaches at the school they go to here. They are bright, beautiful and sweet girls.

I’m telling you, Anchorage is beautiful in the winter, even at -35 F below! The people are AMAZING! We went there a couple January’s ago (from 40 degree Texas mind you) and we LOVED IT! We stayed downtown at the Hilton and the people were so friendly. It was like the cold didn’t exist. We had room where we could watch the jets take off from the AFB and we loved it! I kid you not, you HAVE TO GO to Alaska. It is so incredibly pristine and yes, it’s cold but it is amazingly beautiful, as are the people. Seriously, it will remind you of what the old western USA was all about. It’s terrific. We will definitely go again!
Some of our elite media dregs commented that Piper licking her hand and grooming Trigg’s hair was ‘disgusting’.
I loved that pic and I love the love that Piper showed for Trigg.
A loving family is not something familiar to the msm hacks.

I am saying, AGAIN, you have got to go. You have to go experience the GREAT state of Alaska!. It truly, truly is a treat. I was raised in the Midwest, finished high school and college in Southern California, lived in Chicago for 10 years and now live North of Austin, Texas. I am saying, for those who haven’t been there, GO!!!!!! You really must go. The plane trip sucks! You arrive at 1 am or so and when you leave, your flight is around 1 am. Yes, you will be tired. I am saying, for sure, or for the Obama players ‘fo shizzle’ YOU HAVE TO GO TO ALASKA!!!! This is coming from a woman who loves WARM weather and loves both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. I am saying, no doubt, YOU REALLY MUST go to Alaska. It’s beautiful. It’s grounding. It’s unmolested. It’s just AMAZING!!! If you don’t have these experiences in your normal everyday life.....then GO!!!! You will not, NOT be disappointed.

I’m a “bloom where your are planted”kind of guy. I’ve never been much of a traveler. Except for the occasional road trip for a romantic weekend I’ve been to Mexico twice - to snorkel. But, Please God, before I die, let me spend a few weeks in Alaska. Cold, shmold. Even the heat and humidity in Michigan is unbearable sometimes.
The woman in the background of the first picture of Greta and Piper inside the house is Meg Stapleton, Palin’s former spokesperson in Alaska and by far the most impressive of all of the media relations folks on the McCain-Palin team. If she had been running the show for McCain I honestly think that the outcome may have been different.
I loved Alaska and plan to go there again. It is a wonderful trip. I may just fly over there this time instead of a cruise.
I’d love to visit Alaska. I LIKE the cold! :)
