The problem is, true or not, this all continues to sit out there in the mainstream and make Sarah look bad. It is just amazing to me what they have done to her. She needs to work hard (which I believe she will) to remake her image with the so called swing voters. Who cares about the libs, they’d never vote for a conservative anyway, but in order to win next time as her as the nominee, we will need swing voters.

I hope by doing these interviews the next couple of days and the governor’s convention next week, she kicks their A##!!!!!!

Hehehehe. I just went to the TNR link for Michael Crowley and found the following:

“Update: Oy—this would appear to be a hoax. Apologies.”

I guess TNR is another publication that I’ll need to find confirmation at a second site before I believe them.

Why can't our own "professional" journalists scuh as Crowley check this stuff? Are they so eager to get it out first that they throw away all standards just the the MSM does? This is so frustrating.

Cool. Glad there actually was a link there... somewhere.

Sometimes a couple words like, “Martin Eisenstadt is a fictitious source, the article is a hoax,” helps.

My day is already going better, knowing that you had to reply twice complete a thought.

This is his mea culpa:

Update: Oy--this would appear to be a hoax. Apologies.

After the original report that Palin didn't know whether Africa was a country or a continent, I complained that people were being too credulous about her supposed cluelessness. Looks like I committed the same sin (although I actually find these clams are a lot more believable than that one).

He actually says he believes the hoax is still credible, lol!

Fake but accurate, in other words.

And we're supposed to respect his assessment of someone else's cluelessness?

Sheesh, TNR, how far have ye fallen!

There is no real person "Martin Eisenstadt" who worked for McCain campaign

Admin mod may want to modify title to indicate the story is a HOAX.

The persistent problem with these hoxes, even after they are confirmed as hoaxes is the willingness of the MSM to perpetrate the basic storyline that Sarah Palin is a dimwitted woman - which isn’t the case.

This also doesn’t excuse John McCain, a lecherous man.

"MARTY EISENSTADT" IS A HOAX"

So did "Marty" also hoax Carl Cameron and FoxNews so that the entire story is without substance (as it always appeared to be)????

Funny that even Wikipedia knew the guy was a fake.

I don't think they have this yet. You were probably reading Sourcewatch, a wikipedia look-alike.

I supported McCain, because I had my blinders on. I wanted to believe and I really truly believe that Obama is a disaster for this nation and the world is marching toward tyranny.

John McCain has never been a friend of the small government conservative, but John McCain will wrestle an alligator on behalf of his democratic colleagues in the senate.

Sarah Palin in 2012.

Dishonerable doesn’t even begin to describe this kind of betrayal. Hey Eisenstadt, but for Sarah Palin your sorry !@## would be associated with the most lopsided loss since McGovern.

I wouldn’t discount the willing dupes out here in “right-o-sphere” land. This sort of thing is happily propagated around here and other sites uncritically without any filters on.

Many of these so-called facts put out there by unnamed sources has been refuted by the people actually there.

This is a hoax, they guy is a sockpuppet and either never worked for McCain at all... don't people ever check these stories before they post them anymore? Sheesh, I've seen threads locked for a lot less:

Conservative blogger M. Thomas Eisenstadt is a hoax, fraud, an identity thief and perhaps more

| posted by William K Wolfrum | Wednesday, June 04, 2008

After spending a couple days looking through yards of info regarding the racist, homophobic, transgenderphobic conservative blogger M.Thomas Eisenstadt, I've pretty much reached my conclusion on the subject:

There is no M. Thomas Eisenstadt.

There is no Eisenstadt Group.

"Palin can COMMUNICATE, McCain CANNOT!"

I think that John McCain communicates well enough.

That is why I did not vote for him.

One can get away with that and even brag about it here in Massachusetts.
