As he prepares to take office, President-elect Barack Obama is relying on a small team of advisers who will lead his transition operation and help choose the members of a new Obama administration. Following is part of a series of profiles of potential members of the administration.
The New Team A series of profiles of potential members of the Obama administration.
Name: Jamie Gorelick
Being considered for: Attorney general
Would bring to the job: A wide-ranging Washington résumé that spans corporate, legal and national security affairs. Ms. Gorelick (pronounced Guh-REH-lick) was the No. 2 official at the Justice Department in the Clinton administration, from 1994 to 1997, and if chosen would be the second woman to be named attorney general, following her former boss, Janet Reno. Ms. Gorelick would also bring corporate experience to an Obama administration at a time of financial crisis.
Is linked to Mr. Obama by: Deep contacts in Democratic circles and a background in civil rights. But Ms. Gorelick backed Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Democratic primaries and contributed early on to her campaign, which could work against her as a contender. She contributed $10,000 to Mr. Obamas presidential political action committee in August, after his nomination was all but assured.
In her own words: You know someone respected you if they called you sir, Ms. Gorelick said, alluding to the glass ceiling at the Pentagon, where she worked as general counsel in the 1990s. Maam is what you call your mom.

Forget bipartisanship. This will be a radical admin from day 1. Obama has something like 10 million partisan emails to trigger when he wants. How’s the GOP going to respond?

"Just the kind of person Obama wants working for him. Corrupt, ruthless, and very smart." When I first saw this report I was incredulous: how could Obama want to deal with her baggage when he has been boasting that he is the candidate of "hope and change"???
But then I realized that her baggage is exactly why makes her the perfect AG for Obama: not only is she "corrupt, ruthless, and very smart" etc. but she would never dare go after Obama or others in his WH over anything at all!! They would have perfect implicit or explicit blackmail material against her, since she ever went off the reservation (not too likely for a corrupt Demagogue) then she could easily be destroyed, and she would know it. Even though she was a long-time Clintonista she would be "owned" by the Obamanation.

The reality of the situation is that Soros will be in control. The lefties, know to make the changes they must destroy America then they can redo it the way they want.
This plan of theirs is going to no just push conservatism aside, but kill it. Get ready for many more Waco's and Ruby Ridges.
This whole scenario is looking more dire by the day. I sure hope that the Generals see these people for what they really are and do not let them get too far out of hand.

You've got to reward loyal foot-soldiers.
That's the rule of (Obama's) Mafia.
But Gorelick (and all of Obama's appointees/employees) should
keep this in mind.
Don't matter if your white (Hillary!)
Don't matter if your black (Rev. Wright)
Don't matter if you're man, woman, GLBT, or of indefinite gender.
As soon as you've become even a possible liability...
Obama will have you cast under the bus.

Lessee, Biden, Emmanuel, Gorelick, Grantholm . . . . . . Where’s the change I can believe in?? All I see is the same old leftist politics we’ve been treated to for the past half century or better.

Deputy AG under Janet Reno, she wrote the memo erecting the "wall" between the foreign intel and domestic divisions of the FBI in order to kill any investigations into illegal campaign contributions to the Clinton campaign by foreign countries. As a bonus, it made "connecting the dots" impossible to do, when it came to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
After leaving the Justice Department, she moved on to Fannie Mae, where she helped Franklin Raines cook the books, and collected nearly $800,000 in bonuses.
Oh, and lets not forget that she helped make sure that the Clinton white house stayed virgin clean as a member of the 9/11 Commission. I guess she belonged on the panel, seeing as how she was indirectly responsible for the attack.

Gorelick, Corzine, Lisa Jackson and others are being used as smokescreen to provide cover for the Democrat party to select thei preferred candidate as a "consensus choice" after the sacrificial lambs are put in front of the media.

The fact that Gorelick is not radioactive for any Democrat admin. shows the grotesque failures of the Republicans (and the Media, of course) they have failed utterly to investigate, expose, and crush some of the worst people of the past 15 years. That perfectly captures it. I'm exasperated at the total lack of competence the Republicans have in going after their political opponents. Gorelick is that and also a criminal and a traitor, yet they can't manage to find a quarter of a ball to go after her on anything.

Great. She will be in a position to destroy with little evidence remains of her complicity in making sure the US was vulnerable to a terrorist attack on 9/11. If the Pub’s didnt allow her to be on the 9/11 commission, we wouldnt be facing this right now.
