yeah, that ain’t good.
Yes, we must act and soon. But....how? I wish we all lived near each other and could just secede. Being so spread out, along with all the sheeple inbetween, will be difficult.
Good points. What folks fail to realize is that the gulf between zero and JM is wider than Bush/Kerry, and much wider than Bush/Clinton. In fact, it’s almost as wide, in terms of how lib Zero is, as Reagan/Carter
I did not. I recognized him for what he is many months ago.
We all know we didn't want John McCain from the get go! So there is no need blaming limbaugh.
I cannot speak for "all", I know I did not want him. I never blamed Rush for any part of this, he didn't want McCain either.
If McCain would have won, conservatism would have taken a huge step back in the eyes of the power structure in the Republican Party.
The Republican Party has held conservatives in contempt for a decade. We wouldn't have had McCain up there in the first place if they did not.
McCain's lose is really validation to conservatism! Remember we held our noses and voted for a guy that called all of use RACISTS for not going along like a bunch of sheep supporting Bush's amnesty bill. McCain was booed at CPAC for a reason. No true conservative has to convince other conservatives at the biggest conservative convention in America that he or she is a conservative.
I repeat, I didn't want McCain. I haven't voted for him here in Arizona for his last two senatorial elections.
McCain had to pick Palin, because he knew he wasn't a conservative. Back in March when McCain wrapped up the nomination, many conservatives were already saying they were going to sit this election out. The 20% number of conservatives not voting does make sense. Think about it.
I have. I voted for him in this election simply to stop BO. He was the best (only) deodorant we had.
Did anyone think just because McCain added Palin that all conservatives were going to vote for McCain regardless?
Haven't a clue, I'm not speak for "anyone" or "everyone", only myself.
This is the same McCain that at one time was thinking about becoming a Democrat. We were so blinded by the thought of Obama becoming president, we never really thought what were going to be the ramifications if McCain would have won.
See above. I refused every call for money from the RNC and told them exactly why. They don't support me, why should I support them?
McCain is nothing more then a pro life verison of Obama light.
Actually this is one of the reasons I quit supporting him for Senate, he's not as pro-life as this campaign would have us believe.
We have two years now to get it right and make for a push to regain congress on a conservative platform just like Newt and the gang back in 1994. The finger pointing has to stop because Obama winning was the best thing to happen to us.
The only thing good about ANY of this, to me, is the now-public visibility of Governor Palin.
Bottom line, I did not say that staying home was a vote for BO, still wondering why you included me on your blame line.
In light of our opposition; can only think it close to treasonous for a Repub - no matter what shape or size the ‘R’. . .to cast a vote for Obama. He is that simple. . .
OK. Where are you going to get sufficent votes to win elections. Be specific.
The Headline is backwards
We need to eliminate the electoral college.
We need to implement a month long voting process through ATM machines so everyone can vote.
We need to eliminate the “party” system. People should stand on their own beliefs and represent their local constituents.
All national chair positions should be voted on by the voters during the lame duck session.
We should implement something similar to the Fair Tax to streamline the government and turn their spending into a manageable event. All other taxes should be eliminated.
All pork must be outlawed. Every expenditure should stand on its own.
Check his/her posting history.
Good catch!
If just ten million of us agreed to simultaneously stop paying federal income tax, it would effectively put The People back in the driver's seat in this country.
For too long, our government has treated its citizens like corporate chattle, subject to every injustice and usurpation of freedom they desire to visit upon us.
That's got to stop. We're so close to the precipice now, that it won't take much to push this whole country over into the chasm of failure. We've got to DO SOMETHING.
I personally prefer the solution of a tax revolt. It's what The Founders did, and they did it when they found themselves in the same situation we're in now.
“Rush on Weds: 20% of Conservatives voted for Obama according to exit polls.”
If I got my news only from late night TV and the networks, as most people do, I would have voted for Obama as well.
Nothing changes until we confront the media.
I repeat, I didn't want McCain. I haven't voted for him here in Arizona for his last two senatorial elections.
Well, on the bright side, from here there's nowhere to go but up.
Well, you guys must hae done alright because we never sank!
GO NAVY!
