Advice for critics of the president-elect when they feel themselves sliding towards irrational rage.

I suggest that everyone stand back, take a deep breath, and wait. Wait, and observe. It will become clear enough as Obama chooses a Cabinet and advisers. And then it will become even more clear as he takes office and begins the work of government. More clarity will come as he handles the inevitable crises and tests that will occur on his watch.
The goal of each of us should be to react only to evidence, not fear. That’s not easy. But our task is actually easier than that of our predecessors, the sufferers from BDS. After all, they had an MSM whipping them up into a frenzy twenty-four hours a day. In addition, those on the right have always taken pride in the fact that in their political decisions they are driven more by reason, in contrast to the left’s emotion. I wanted deeply to vote for a black man for president. This black man, however, exemplifies all that is seedy, malicious, deceitful, corrupt and immoral about our political environment. Nothing good will come of this.
The most egregious illustration is Obama’s African ancestry. His clan is Muslim. They consider non Muslim Africans sub human. They have enslaved their African brothers for more than 1000 years and continue to do so today.
Far from being a black man whose ancestors were slaves, Obama’s ancestors made it possible for the slave trade to florish by virtue of their enslavement of non Muslim Africans and sale to slave traders.
Obama has aligned himself with this Muslim clan. With his approval his cousin caused the murder of thousands of African Christians.
Since the Civil War the Democrat party has indentured the black culture to government amd sought their extermination through the unfettered abortion industry. Obama has assured the black genocide industry that he will vastly expand their range of activities by appointing radical judges with no commitment for the Constitution to the Supreme Court and by signing legislation that prohibits any and all restrictions on abortion.
The black community has made a deal with the devil by its untempered support of a self styled black man who has no respect for the ancestors of slaves.
Not a good idea to fall prey to Obama Derangement Syndrome. The left made fools of themselves with the Bush Derangement Syndrome.
Better to spend our limited conservative energy figuring out how to battle the nihilists in charge in the media and the party of death.
wait for what? our personal invitation to a re-education camp? until the country is permanently impoverished by the rats?
besides, any of our responses go nowhere. The media will stay in the zero camp, forever, they are believers. So the propaganda ministry is in place, and, I expect significant but sublet steps in 2009 to essentially make it impossible for conservatives to ever win another election.
People need to wake up and see reality. America is on a one way trip and we our powerless to stop it.
I live in the Chicago area. I have been forced to turn off my tv. Our local news talks at length about such things as what kind of puppy the Obamas should get for their kids. I know way more than I wanted to about what dogs are good for people with allergies. I have been subjected to repeated images of the Obama family hugging and kissing each other, juxtaposed with pictures from the Kennedy “Camelot” family. I felt I was being overexposed to ODS and had to turn off the tv before my head exploded. I hope to keep up with the news for now by reading Free Republic.

I admit to having a severe case of ODS. Haven't watched or listened to news since Tuesday night.
Yesterday, I was accosted by two separate groups trolling for money - one outside my bank, the other outside Target (who has a policy of "No Solicitation") Told them both to save themselves some time and effort - Obama will provide for their every need.
Pretty childish I know - but it made me feel a little better.
As far as I am concerned you and all the Obama and Democrat ass kissers can go fly a Kite.

Me too, and in New York city traffic at that! I would feel more confident.
Imagine all those people who said that we can’t do any worse than what we have now when they realize that the Bush administration started to look like the good old days before it even ended.
I only hope it doesn’t damage the country when he does.
