Grassroots conservatives here's our next battle: save Norm Coleman
The Collins Report ^ | November 9, 2008 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

Posted on 11/09/2008 4:13:55 AM PST by jmaroneps37

Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman is now just over 220 votes ahead of Democrat Al Franken in the race for the final available senate seat in America. While it would be easy to say, “Well Coleman didn’t vote for this bill or that bill, let him go” this is defeatist, suicidal and sets back our fight to rebuild our conservative movement.

Coleman has a lifetime 73% American Conservative Union rating, substantially larger than the voters of Minnesota, but not the American people deserve.

Minnesota’s other senator, Amy Klobucher shows us what Franken would be like. Klobucher’s lifetime American Conservative Union rating is 4%.

Franken would strive for and likely deserve a zero ACU rating then brag about it. He’d make Klobucher the house conservative.

Norm Coleman’s road back to Washington is getting steeper by the hour. There is credible evidence that the man doing the recount of Minnesota’s votes is a tool of ACORN.

Mark Ritchie the Minnesota Secretary of State is a Democrat’s Democrat. He was endorsed in 2006 by these groups, each of whom hate conservatism and would make America a gray faceless Soviet socialist country when given the chance.

Minnesota ACORN Political Action Committee

American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME)

Education Minnesota

League of Young Voters/League of Pissed-Off Voters

Minnesota AFL-CIO

NARAL Pro-Choice Minnesota Election Fund

Planned Parenthood of Minnesota Political Action Fund

Progressive Action of Northeastern Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin

Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Minnesota State Council

Southside Pride

Stonewall DFL

These groups will love Franken as well.

America and conservatism can’t lose Norm Coleman.

He needs money for this recount. If each of us doesn’t personally step up, its over and the socialists will steal this seat.

Any questions about what we have to do?

Send him whatever you can http://www.colemanforsenate.com/splash

Not a noob. Been here since 2000, needed to change passwords due to relocation.

That aside, your comments on this thread to several posters are among the most disrespectful and hateful that I’ve ever encountered on FR.

With your atrocious grammar, you’d be a perfect Franken voter. Perhaps you were.

You're a liar and a whiner --- NOOB!

Stop infecting FR with your anti-conservative screeds and unconservative candidates. Round up your buds and take a hike.

RM, I see you are continuing your ever so gracious posting style.

Lovely.

We adults are concerned about a stolen election.

More whining and crying for Normy Coleman. LOL

You clowns don’t give a hoot about conservatism.

Given that the overwhelming majority of the posters on this thread (among other threads) concur in the imperative of keeping Coleman in the Senate, I believe it is you, not I, who should be seeking a different blogosphere.

I've thought about our "conversations" since this thread was started, and I'm beginning to think that you are Al Franken. You have no regard for others, no sense of humor and have the charm of reverend Wright.

You hate conservatism and it shows. I could put up pictures and quotes of Reagan on my homepage to prove my conservatism, but I don't need to do so. You do because you're living a lie. Nobody as vile and vindictive as you are can call yourself a conservative. You are a troll in the worst way.

Don't hold your breath, NOOB. After 9 years I still enjoy smashing you anti-conservative malcontents.

Fact is, I'm not adverse to Coleman staying in the Senate and said he's better than Franken. What I don’t condone is posters to this forum making excuses for any candidate. The fact remains, Coleman is no conservative and he doesn't represent the best of republicanism either. He's been a very weak candidate.

Btw, Free Republic promotes conservative candidates. This forum doesn't support liberals and doesn't take kindly to moderates either. FR fought hard against Giuliani and Romney getting the GOP nomination. In the end, FReepers rejected both. Just as McCain's loss to Obama was not a defeat for conservatism. If Coleman goes down, its not a defeat for conservatism.

You seem to think it’s okay to have a senate seat stolen because Coleman is not conservative enough for you. Is that the full, complete picture of your vile vindictiveness?

Do you also remember Norm’s investigation of the Oil-For Food UN scam that showed how incredibly corrupt the UN, and Kofi Annan in particular, were?
Norm took all kinds of heat for that, and plowed relentlessly on in spite of it.
I have plenty of bones to pick with Norm, but his Senate seat going to Al Franken by FRAUD is simply unacceptable under ANY circumstances! And since there’s no other way to secure it, the Rats will pull out all the stops to win!

Hey Bravo! Good to ‘see’ you.

Watch out with those moderate views of yours. Coleman’s not conservative enough and deserves to have the election stolen from him, just ask Reagan Man.

Since this is an anonymous website, your free to say whatever you like. So far, all you've offered is whining and BS, interspersed with juvenile trashtalk. Typical for you malcontent harpy types. Carry on.

Hi, mplsconservative!
Good to “see” you too!
My feeling about Norm’s wobbly “conservatism” notwithstanding, at least I know I have SOME chance of influencing his positions. Therefore, he is not a total write-off. There is no way all these votes suddenly being discovered can ALL be for Franken. Klobuchar is liberal dipsh*t, but Franken would make her look like an Rhodes scholar.
If Franken steals this election, you can absolutely FORGET any sort of real Senatorial representation in Minnesota.

I root for conservatism.

Yeah, sure. Our very nation is in peril and you are still looking for the perfect conservative. In the meantime you are rooting for Al Franken to defeat Norm Coleman by outright theft of an election. Then you can tell us how right you are ...
