Transition advisers to President-elect Barack Obama have compiled a list of about 200 Bush administration actions and executive orders that could be swiftly undone to reverse White House policies on climate change, stem cell research, reproductive rights and other issues, according to congressional Democrats, campaign aides and experts working with the transition team. A team of four dozen advisers, working for months in virtual solitude, set out to identify regulatory and policy changes Obama could implement soon after his inauguration. The team is now consulting with liberal advocacy groups, Capitol Hill staffers and potential agency chiefs to prioritize those they regard as the most onerous or ideologically offensive, said a top transition official who was not permitted to speak on the record about the inner workings of the transition.

Dems did not like AT ALL when Bush made those executive partisan decisions so they nullify them in equally partisan manner. Thats the new tone and new ideas and change that Obama represents.

If you knowingly vote for someone who is against life, and that person wins, any legislation passed into law by that administration you now own, as your own.
I’ve been weepy all day today, too.
It truly does break your heart.

Poor girl. I know how you feel. I was like that the first couple of days...but I am ready for battle now. You will get there too in a few days. Turn the news off..take a break from it all. Do something you love to do and come back swinging! We are not going to let them destroy our country without a fight!
I’m still absorbing the shock of what the country has just done- and the deeper realization that very few of the millions who voted for this man comprehend what he represents and what he wants this nation to become.
Since then I’ve hardly turned on the tv- though I listened to most of FNS with Chris Wallace this morning- after that tv off all day.
Not only is Obama a radical leftist at heart- but he’s in waaaay over his head. I realize he’s exhausted- but his press conf yesterday was unsettling. His stumbling and halting sentences and ahhh’s and uhhhmmm’s were greater than usual.
All I could think was- and they said GWB is inarticulate?
Since I have no confidence in Obama’s decision making abilities- watching who he chooses for various positions should provide clues as to his intent. Because he lacks the necessary ability to LEAD- the power vaccum will have to be filled. The power struggle should start in earnest by mid-December if not sooner.

There are many House and Senate Dems who want to get elected in 2010.

I think, since 1994, the Democrats have infiltrated the GOP, especially with the behavior of some RNC people of late. I know as a fact that many local Republican central committees have been taken over by liberals.
A friend of mine suggested a massive movement of Republicans registering to vote as Democrats and completely dissolving the Republican party. (A colossal “Operation Chaos.”)
This would confound things nicely (and scare the $hit out of the fence sitters) and it would also FORCE these a-hole politicians to talk about ISSUES.
