Message to Scott McClellan: when your guy's gaffe merits a screaming headline at Drudge [see after the jump] about how he's had to apologize for what he said, he's messed up. Big time. But that didn't stop Pres. Bush's former press secretaryturned Soros-paid scrivenerfrom going on TV and proclaiming that Obama had turned in a flawless performance in his debut presser today as president-elect.
McClellan appeared on MSNBC's "1600 Pennsylvania Avenue," David Gregory's post-election vehicle taking the place of "Race for the White House." In an odd bit of balance, McClellan, who endorsed Obama, was on with former Clinton press secretary Joe Lockhart. Mika Brzezinski guest-hosted for Gregory. Lockhart went first, and predictably proclaimed that Obama "made no mistakes" in his press conference today. No prize for candor, but what do you expect? Then it was McClellan's turn, and he went into parrot paradigm [with no offense to the baby red-front macaw I'm bringing home tomorrow].

So does Norman Bates and his.
McClellan looks and acts like he just can’t get thick enough knee pads.
Absolutely correct. And the reason is clear from the picture near the top of the thread - - the scumbag Democrat newsrooms get to put that caption under his gay, baby-fat face.
The ObamaMedia would describe a videotaped ax murder by The Zero as a flawless performance, which gives hope to all.
As if McClellan would know anything about a flawless presser performance.
Well, this is pretty much how it’s going to go. The One can do nothing wrong.
And by the way, there is a special place in hell for Scotty.
Doughy gaylord.
Are we still pretending McClellan is a republican?
Remember what SNL did to Gerald Ford? He slipped once, and naturally that was 'news' to the liberal press. So SNL had secret service guys (John and Dan) mimick whatever mistake the president (Chevy Chase as Ford) made. If he bumped into a table, they bumped into the table (or smashed it to bits) and so on.
Ok, turnabout is fair play. Alls fair in politics, right? So now we have "Obama" come out and make stupid statements and have a "McClellan" and a "Matthews" explain how it was perfect no matter how stupid he gets.
This is going to be a fun four years, I just hope they don't break stuff we can't fix.
...and author of the best-selling (?) book “WHAT HAPPEN?”
No, that’s not fair. People actually like Poppin’ Fresh.
Well you have to admit that for Scott McClellan the standard for “good presser” is so low that anything Obama said or did would be an improvement over McClellan. Why that clown was ever allowed near the WH press room is one of the enduring mysteries of the Bush admin.
I will, as long as I live, be thankful for President Bush’s stance against Islamic terrorism, but I cannot forgive him for what he has done to the Republican Party with his selection of people like Scott McClellan (whose late granddaddy, Dean Page Keeton of The University of Texas School of Law, was one of the finest Texans who ever lived), Harriet Meirs (who is a fine person, but far from a stellar Supreme Court nominee), and Michael Brown. There is just nothing good that can be said about McClellan’s performance as press secretaty. He could not have been worse; and he was, to a great extent, the public face of the President and the Republican Party. With McClellan holding press briefings, Republicans were just saying to the world, “look how incompetent we are.”
Scott McClellan is a tacky low-life manure shoveler.
Can I say that on FR?
At least Judas Iscariot repented...and much more...
Fine by me ;-)
AMEN!!!!! I wouldnt give him the credit of being the shoveler! Scotty is the Manure! His name is really “SCOTTY MERDE!” Check that one out! The appropriate comment to Scotty is: “SPANDE MERDE! Scotty!”
Your research will quickly show you that Scott’s daddy, Barr McClellan, is a real piece of work (especially when it comes to JFK-assassination-conspiracy theories—actually, he has a cool theory, but I doubt that even he believes it). Still, Scott cannot be blamed for having Barr as his old man. He can be blamed for being a horrible press secretary and subsequent turncoat.
