You’re probably OK once inside the zoo, but that whole stretch of Nolensville Road has been a dodgy place for better than a decade. I remember when it used to have Americans around there.

I have my cousin and her husband and 2 boys living in Loudoun County (the husband has a gov't job), and no doubt the two of them and their son (who turned 18 last month) helped to elect the pig as President Dictator. The little darling sitting in his grandpa's quarter-mil beach house in NC spewed a bunch of garbage in front of his grand-aunt and uncle (my parents) talking about how wonderful Communism is last year. They're very lucky I wasn't there to properly correct my young second cousin. It wouldn't have been pretty.

East or west? Probably east. US-15 is the dividing line. West of 15 is the conservative side, east of 15 is the raging moonbat side. Leesburg is in the middle.

OBX? It's a NoVa fad. I don't quite get it because my family was lower middle class and hence almost never went to the beach.

What kind of people were on the jury?

I’m guessing mental retards. I think our local newspapers should publish in bold print the names of all the jurors and their phone numbers and addresses so local Nashvillians can express their thanks for the public service they rendered to our community.

Really? If they are average citizens, then the prosecution must have really screwed up for all twelve of them to return a verict of innocent. Intimidating jurors sounds like mob/union/dem tactics.

Perhaps you’d feel differently if the crime occurred in your neighborhood.

Well, we don’t all live in “Leave It To Beaver” neighborhoods like yours, no doubt. When you live in a crime-ridden area that once used not to be, it changes your perspective pretty damn quick. Many of us actually expected the jury to do its job, but then it went all OJ on us. Pardon us all over the place if we’re a little peeved.

Juries are every bit as capable of being full of morons as legislative bodies.
Indeed, smarter people all probably ignore the summons.

I call B.S. on this. IIRC, a second illegal re-entry is a FELONY and he should be prosecuted as a felon.

Bull! I just got off a jury. The prosecution had proven everything and the defense did not put up one witness, one piece of evidence, and weakly attacked what had been presented. There was one juror that was unconvinced. Having twelve jurors will often alleviate, "the idiot" syndrome, but will not eliminate bad jury decisions. I have no information on how the testimony was given nor what it was, but this is about the possibility of jury misfeasance. so your statement "If they lost, its the prosecutions fault." is not worth the opinion its written on.
