Sarah Palin Is No Bimbo

There was something bothersome about the treatment of Sarah Palin. Her final campaign appearances and interviews showed calm, poise and competence. Her charm galvanized the base. And yet the hard Left on day one reduced her to a Neanderthal creationist. The DC-NY Republican grandees demonized her as a cancerous bimbo who spoke in a patois and represented a culture that was an anathema. Now after heroic campaign work, she returns to Alaska with leaks that she was a diva, appeared in a bathrobe, and threw things, as failed strategists grasp at scapegoats for their lapses. I hope she completes her term, runs for Senate, and comes back to DC to haunt her critics. Long after 2008, we shall remember that an Atlantic Mazagine blogger for days on end trafficked in rumors that her own daughter delivered her mothers Down Syndrome child. That smear says it all....

We should all understand that this is how the *elite* see ALL of us—we are bumpkins, too stupid to govern ourselves, uncouth, unwashed and by them, unloved.

as much as it’s great that there are those coming out in defense of Palin, she is the only one that will be able to dispel the myths propagated about her by her enemies. All she has to do is continue to do good things for the state and people of Alaska and use her accomplishments to prove her haters as liars.

Exactly. And they can't understand why any of us who earn less than $250... no wait $200k... or was it $150k... Oh yeah, if we earn less than $120k we should want him for our president because he'll give us some money.

Even if true , I don't understand the slam about the bath robe . Was she supposed to leave the staffers in the hall or answer the door naked ? I am for naked of course but her choice is that of a decent person .

The attacks on Palin by the McCain's failed campaign staff has led me to believe that all those conservatives who did not vote for McCain were right and that I was wrong. I'll never make that mistake again.

69% of GOP Voters Say Palin Helped McCain (Favorability among Republicans: ***91%***!!!) Sarah Palin IS the conservative base.
The sooner that RINO die-hards and worthless RNC barnacles finally accustom themselves to that happy little fact... the sooner we can get started on actually beating one-term Senate Marxists with open terrorist ties, rather than losing to them.
You know. Like the way THEY did this year, running THEIR sort of candidate.

Wait, my compalint was she didn’t cement the base and I was told I was a fool. Now you say you were wrong not to join the consevatives who did not vote for McCain. So did she cement the base or not?

Obama’s first news conference was so disastrous Sarah Palin was just totally restored. Who wouldn’t have been more einspired and energized by her on that stage? It’s obvious.

Saw on another thread that a Fox reporter is saying the attacks are coming from inside Palin's staff.
Don't buy it, but that is what is being said. Of course parsing, technically Wallace was on Palin's staff (assigned to).
