Wasn't Sarah Palin first brought to public notice and eventually John McCain's notice by people posting here on Free Republic and other blog sites? From what I have been looking at, we can make great gains in the 2010 Senate. Let's issue some calls-to-service to those who need to step up and beat these Liberals! As of now, here's the list of Democrat Senators who need to be sent home in defeat:...
It might be surprising to a lot of people how liberal/socialist Australia is, given our image of it as almost an old West USA (at least in movies and such).
Though I will say Australia is a unique country in terms of population vs land mass. I am sure there are a lot of technical, geographic and import reasons they are the way they are politically.
And just where are we suppose to go with the new world government being put into place?
Great post!
We are on the same page.
2008 was not a republican year at all obviously. We knew that going in.
Much like 1992, But as we all know 1994 was a big year for conservative republicans and stunned the media.
Now is the time to start the work on those vulnerable democrats in 2010.
Two in Massachusetts if Kerry decides to be in an Obama cabinet, and we all know that Kennedy is day to day.
Delaware will have a special election for Biden's seat.
Then again, there may not even be any Republicans in Delaware or Mass!
Could we please finish counting this election, before we get started on the next??
Just how sure are you there will be elections in 2010?
Pat Toomey.
We have got to start hammering the incumbent D’s as much as possible. I live in the Youngstown OH area and have started my letter writing campaign to the local paper (Youngstown Vindicator) hammering Rep Tim Ryan, Senator Brown, Gov Strickland and Mayor Williams.
They all promised a lot of things to this valley if osama was elected-mostly many new “green jobs”. They need to be held accountable for their promises. Even if I’m the only one writing to the paper, calling the local talk shows and tormenting them at campaign or local appearances I’m going to do it. I plan on being a huge pain in their collective asses.
“Could we please finish counting this election, before we get started on the next??”
That’s not what democrats do.
Kos already had their top ten vulnerable republicans list.
What is the matter with the throw in the towel and leave folks? Sound like Democrats.
This Nation wasn’t founded by weak people who when they didn’t get their way, they quit. This Nation was founded by people who stood up and were counted at the risk of their own lives.
Far as I am concerned I would tell any spineless, doom and gloom person on here the same thing I told the Dems that threatened to leave — don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Conservatives don’t throw in the towel — they rise back up to fight again and 2010 election started this week. Time to take the GOP back to the Conservative principles that win elections. If you don’t want to help by throwing in the towel, then it is time for those of you who love to spread the doom and gloom to shut up and get out of the way because some of us believe our Country is worth fighting to keep.
“Just how sure are you there will be elections in 2010?”
There will be, or I will be rifle in hand.
So either way, I have to fight them one way or another.
So see, it doesn’t matter if you look at it that way. LOL
FIGHT!
“Country is worth fighting to keep.”
AGREED!
And yeah, personally I think some of these folks need to leave Free Republic. They are drama queen champions of defeat.
The political pendulum is always swinging in America.
history teaches this.
It has hang time, and is a little rusty, but it can be moved! And we can swing it back to the right again.
Agreed! Conservatives do NOT throw in the towel.
WE FIGHT!
I will never stop. EVER.
I swear this.

“Australia is a socialist, anti-gun nation with serious Islamic problems. Indonesia is just off the coast.”
If all the conservatives in America upped and moved north to Canada, we could take that place over!
(only half-kidding....) :)

Exactly and thanks for the link! Tired of doom and gloom when there is so much we can do including making sure our elected officials grow big spines in DC and know that we stand behind them.
I started to list Massachusetts. How about it Mitt Romney? He’s certainly got the money to do it. Also, Sam Brownback is not running again in Kansas. We’ll need a strong candidate there as that horrid Obamanut Gov. is running on the Democrat side.
As for this being a vanity thread, didn’t most of us first hear about Sarah Palin through vanity threads on here? I know I did—about two or three months before John McCain picked her! For those of you who wish to leave this Blessed Country, please hurry up and go and get the heck out of our way—we have WORK to do!
All these people who advocate leaving the country need to remember that the current generation of Americans are a bunch of selfish idiots who don’t value freedom but are just interested in what is the government going to do for me.
Now the Dems have to govern, they are in control. They have to deliver. Can’t blame Bush anymore, can’t blame Republicans. Can’t keep talking about hope and change.
We all know there is no way they can be successful because liberals have no new ideas and history shows their old ideas have already been tried and failed.
The American people will then turn back to us to govern effectively and this time we shouldn’t let them down with a Congress that is corrupt and spends too much and a president who never vetoed one spending bill. Let’s show them when we regain power that a Reagan conservative government is the best.
Mitt Romney, MA ... just an idea
Dude, you live in Kansas. Hang in there.
