I Just called the number and was directed to the “communications department” I told her I am and African-American and I was appalled to see Ms. Harris speak to a child like that AND she is a teacher who can’t even use proper English. I told them she shouldn’t have contact with children because teaching is not her calling. The lady told me the Superintendent will have a message posted about what actions are to be taken posted later on the school board website and that I should watch it. I told her I will. Everybody needs to call about this woman.

Put aside the abominable, political persecation of the girl, by the “teacher”. The above quote should be grounds for the “teacher’s” immediate firing.

Add to this,that ANY teacher,instructor,etc.browbeating a student in this manner (and campaigning openly for someone running for office) should be removed IMMEDIATELY. Education,NOT indoctrination.It should be SOP and clearly outlined in any contract the school may have with the instructor.If the college pukes want to do it,whatever...they’re over 18 anyway. But young blossoming minds should be taught NOTHING but how to contribute to society and be productive and responsible-readin’writin’and ‘rithmentic,some art and music,some science (minus the global-warming crap,other than the fact that it’s a normal cyclic event.)
In other words...teachers-stick to the script and do your job,or go find another line of work!!
I called yesterday, and sent emails to all of the school board members.
As a teacher I can tell you the fastest way to get something corrected is for it to be dragged to the light. There are millions of decent people in this country and when we see a child being hurt, people rightly jump in to help.
That is when things get done.
I’ll be checking that website myself too. I’m hoping it will say that she has been fired. I do believe NC is a right to work state meaning that she can be fired for any reason, any time and the union has very limited power.

I have an unfortunate prediction she may get suspension or if she gets fired she will try to sue the board via NAACP or ACLU lawyers. They will become more bold now thinking that they have the upper hand. We conservatives have got to prepare ourselves for a fight for the next four years. These liberals/socialists are going to try to rip our Constitution to shreds.

I hope that little girl’s dad comes home and tells the truth to the public about how BHO’s support among the REAL heroes in America—our men and women in the military—is very, very low.

I just checked and NC is a ‘right to work’ state. The upside of this is that unions have significantly less power than in say NY.
My personal prediction is that she will be ‘transferred’ into a job with no contact with children under the guise of a ‘promotion’

When I was a kid my Mom was against vouchers because she believed that public schools would only improve if everyone had ownership. I attended public grade school in Philadelphia and had pretty good , sometimes black, teachers. I succeeded in college though because I was fortunite enough to attend a Catholic HS. The public schools today are in choas ...they don’t even use a standard calendar anymore ..they teach everyday math (a non traditional math course out of Chicago) and on and on. The ownership arguement is meaningless because the parents don’t really care themselves about academics ...and even if they do are often powerless to fight the system. My kids are in Catholic school and I wish I had the extra money to send to this girls parents to get her moved into Catholic school. And hey maybe that is the answer ....Let’s push for vouchers for active military families!!! It would be a start ...maybe we can tag it onto one of laws they sign in the middle of the night.
GIVE $$ to the Catholic schools if you can ...my kids are singing to a group of Vets on Tues ...Proud to be an American, GOD bless the USA. From what I hear around here ..anyone that shows up at a Pennsylvania public school in uniform gets sent away ...they use the anti-recuiter thing as excuse...but the effect is the same.
That is disgusting - that is why my parents chose to home school my siblings and I. That poor girl, I feel so bad for her. I wish that “teacher” received a harsher punishment - what a joke.

My mom is/was an excellent teacher which included “Special Ed” (i.e., brats; she would tell you she rarely dealt with kids who truly had “problems”) and being in charge of latter at a Special Ed branch school. She could tell you even way back that “Education” degree courses were a joke, and even getting her masters in SpecEd, her dyslexic professor told them all how it really isn’t rocket science and used more common sense. Mom graduated in AmHistory with math as a minor, and just knew English so well she also taught that in later days. She got the Ed degreeh after her BA stuff. It’s a shame more teachers don’t have common sense like that, much less degrees in what they actually teach.

Typical communist thoughts. Communist “ownership” is just like ubiquitous items - it is everything, and nothing. Everyone owns - millions - but because of that, no-one owns it in truth.
