Bush has let the education system get so out of hand that it’s just downright scarey. These teachers are so brazen they’re doing this stuff out in the open now.

No child left behind? Yep, that’s about it. The Democrat party is bring them all along to the promised land.

Do we object? Hell no. We’ve had a train engineer asleep at the switch. Just doubt the funding to the Department of Education, that’ll do it.

Er, hiring for schools is done by local school districts, according to rules laid out by state governments, not the Feds. Bush has next to nothing to do with the hiring of teachers.

The only Federal influence on hiring decisions are anti-discrimination laws and civil rights laws, which the current President has nothing to do with.

Do you go to school board meetings? Do you demand getting rid of the teachers unions and tenure? Do you vote in school board elections and do you actually know the positions of the people you are voting for? Do you get out and work for the candidates who would act to get rid of scum like this teacher? I am going to guess the answer is no. If you do not like it, get off your butt and start working to get rid of the problem. Here is a little video for you to watch to see how it is done. http://www.reason.tv/video/show/60.html

Since when was the hiring, discipline and firing of local school teachers a responsibility of the President of the U. S.? The federal government has no constitutional authority to meddle in local schools in any way. The U. S. Dept. of Education exists because Jimmah Cahtuh owed a political debt to the NEA, and further because no Republican administration since has had the courage or common sense to terminate it.
