Newsweeks Evan Thomas and Jon Meacham shared a bizarre Obama love-fest session with Charlie Rose on the PBS hosts program on Wednesday. Meacham stated that he was "very struck watching the stagecraft" of Obama and pointed out how Obama gave his victory speech by himself: "...[H]ave you ever seen a victory speech where there was no one else on stage? No adoring wife, no cute kid -- he is the message." Thomas went one step further in this vein: "There is a slightly creepy cult of personality about all of this." Rose confronted him on his use of this phrase, and he explained that it made him "a little uneasy that he's so singular. He's clearly managing his own spectacle. He knows how to do it. He's a -- I think, a deeply manipulative guy..." Later, all three marveled about how it was "amazing" that Obama "watches us watching him."
Thomas and Meacham appeared during the second segment of Roses program on Wednesday night. The host first asked Thomas about how Obama seemed to be "always in charge of this campaign." After giving an anecdote about a meeting in which Obama discussed his vice presidential pick with his advisers, Thomas commented that Obama is very inclusive, yet very self-contained. It's an unusual leadership style."

LMAO!!! IF that socialist used a$$-wipe is the best Satan has, the devil is deep crap....
On the other hand, he certainly might be the forerunner to the old boy himself.
I was thinking exactly the same thing as I was getting ready for work this morning, lgjhn23. Obama's not the antichrist; too many people suspect him. The antichrist will be someone we don't expect. I do agree with you that he could be clearing a path for the antichrist, though. Zero is going to run this country into the toilet. We will be so demoralized and so desperate that our defenses will obliterated. We won't recognize the evil one when he comes because he will offer us hope. Zero has offered hope and change, too, but not at a time when America is desperate for it. Oh sure, plenty of people have fallen for it, but millions of us have seen through his line of crap. No, the antichrist will slip in after Zero's done some real damage, when we're ALL vulnerable. The antichrist will be viewed as a saviour from BO or a successor of his.
I really do think Zero is paving the way.
*Shivers*
by the time people believe he is evil, it will be too late.
Of course! Otherwise he wouldn’t be able to pull it off. Many will be deceived (just like now). Interestingly, it will be a world crisis that ushers in the antichrist. It could happen now but I personally think things will be worse than they currently are for that to happen.
There’s a link for the full Brokaw-Rose exchange on Charlie Rose’s website. It’s pretty long, and Rush cherry picked quotes throughout, but it is there.

I always said he had a sneer like Mussolini’s - or some Egyptian Pharoah.
I have felt like the world is such a different place now
Exactly! I’ve been sharing that personal observation with my wife and good friends. I told my aged mother last weekend that I sense this dark pall over our country and now I believe Obama is verification of my sense of evil over the land.
Stop the World....I Wanna Get Off.....LOL! ;)
Biden is more powerful in the Senate unless something happens to Obama and I pray that doesn’t happen. The last thing Republicans need is a black martyr...
I couldn’t see the moment they were talking about at the end of the speech.
I think it is possible that Obama is some sort of Manchurian candidate..something is just not right about him.
Where does it say that the anti-christ will be part of the Muslim descent and in his 40s.
What about that Ezekiel prophecy? Does it talk about anything that would pertain to Obamanazi.
I saw a new Obama bumper sticker today. It said O-shit.
My oldest son woke up the day after the election and told me that he had a nightmare that Obama was elected president...
...something is just not right about him..
Exactly my words to my husband on election night....there’s just some weird, eery feeling about him...I can’t quite figure it out...

I was about to ask what he meant by this ( he wouldn't announce his Gestapo in a speech, would he? ) so I looked on the web. One guy thought he was referring to the volunteer work that he's proposed, but that doesn't seem to fit. Another guy pointed out that in the immediately succeeding passages of the same speech he gives some clarification. Paraphrasing, it seems he's speaking of a sort of noncombatant wing of the military, like the Seabees or something. He refers to "agricultural specialists".
Well, we might prefer that he WAS announcing his Gestapo. At least it makes sense. This seems to be a childish fantasy. No wonder the media never mentioned it, it's a complete embarrassment.
I think this guy is going to be way off the tracks before he's even inaugurated. He already is, really, just like the proverbial dog that catches the car.
The truth will hurt!
this is some of what i was talking about... Rush had this on his show today...
“I havent had this strong a sense of dread since the morning after Jimmy Carter was elected”
Carter only ever scared me ONLY because he was so stupid. That I sensed from the begining.
This guy is NOT stupid.
They thought Obama’s sleazy “Fairness Doctrine” would save their lousy media. I wonder if they think saving their media outlet, whichever one, was worth losing the U.S.?
