Apparently, the first dog is not happy about the impending changes at the White House.

Today, Barney bit a reporter outside the briefing room. The whole incident was caught on tape by another reporter, April D. Ryan.
Reuters political reporter Jon Decker had finished an interview with MSNBC around 10:30 a.m. when he saw Barney and his handler. After getting permission to pet the dog, Decker said Barney snapped and chomped down on his right index finger and broke the skin.
Decker said his first reaction was, "that's not good."
Decker said he was treated with a bandage and some antibiotics and was asked to return for a tetanus shot Friday. He has not gotten any calls from the White House.
Strange how dogs can detect evil in ways humans cannot.
They showed the video on Fox. It’s no wonder he got bit, he stooped down to Barney with his hand out like he was going to smack him. That is a very agressive move to a small dog no wonder he got bit.
LMAO
Good dog! I hope President Bush gave him a prime rib for that!
3 posts on character within 2 minutes ... LOL
Barney, what took you so long?!
Gee, hope you don’t get sick from the guy’s blood, hehe.
GO BARNEY!!!!!!
Barney must have smelled a ‘rat.
Thanks for posting. That made my night!
Do you think we could train Barney to take a nip at Helen Thomas?
Heh...thought this was about Barney Frank.
Cruelty to animals is a serious crime. Shame on you. ;o)
Allen Brothers Filet Mignon.
You don't approach a dog you've never met before by patting on top of the head. This places the dog in a submissive position and if the person is a stranger, this can lead to aggressive reaction. It looks like the reporter from al-Reuters is trying to pet Barney around the mouth, which is another definite no-no.
He asked for it, and he got it. He got bit.
Reporter works for Reuters. Pray for Barney.
Wouldn’t that be cruelty to animals...making the poor dog bite THAT?????
Barney shows better judgment than the flack...
TC
Thank you!!!! I was in total brain fart mode and could not remember that one to save my life!
You can expect more 'fluff' pieces like this to come out of the white house (small caps) from now on. There will be stories like 'first time you entered Lincoln bedroom', first time you took a dump on the royal throne, first time the family had Christmas morning.....it will make you want to puke.
I hope God has a special place in Hell reserved for the sychophantic poser 'journalists' who will dominate the media in the coming years. There will be nothing substantive to emanate from that place for at least 4-8 years.
