I care about this Country.
The fact is, McCain/Palin...Lost.
And so shall we be if we take out our grievance on such trivial matters.
“I care about this Country.”
You actually don’t care about this country if you think it’s OK for this type of political abuse to be going on. America should be better than this, and if people don’t get outraged about the abuse, we’re in for bigger trouble than Hussein.
I care deeply about the Conservative Movement that Gov. Palin sparked and I want it to continue flicker like a flame on a stormy night...
This kind of cattiness and backstabbing have no lace in politics in this country. We need to hold them accountable and make them behave as adults. If they can’t, they have no place in the political arena.
Foolish kitty. This is a trivial matter only if you want Sarah to become a trivial player.
This is about destroying her so that she can never return to the national stage, and us conservatives find that unacceptable.
Palin Won.
With all due respect, this is not a trivial matter. What is happening now is the kind of thing that discourages good people from getting involved in politics. Who wants to be subjected to this garbage, much less have their families exposed to it as well?
And the reason for that was.....McCain. Palin is the only reason the defeat wasn't a hell of a lot worse. And the incessant Palin-bashing that is going on in the media and among a bunch of assholes here is so far over the top as to be unbelievable. Why don't you bashers go an fawn over Kathleen Parker???
It’s not trivial, and you know it.
You don’t get it. Just as the Mediascum did the dirty work of the Demagogues, pushing Governor Palin’s unfavorability rating up to 50%, some in the RINO wing of the GOP are trying to tar her with this loss, and make her radioactive for 2012 and beyond (to mix metaphors).
This crap must be beaten down aggressively because the battle has been joined for the future of the party...... and the country will not have ANY good conservative national candidates if the myth takes hold that Governor Palin sank this ticket.
In reality, she was the best thing about this ticket, and if the McCain campaign had done an adequate job of rolling her out and beating off the smears all along then they would have had a fighting chance of winning.
