How about a scholarship fund to send this poor daughter of a soldier to a private school? I wonder if Hannity could use his fund?

Notice that she says “if you support McCain, that’s fine”, but then whenever anyone says that the do support McCain she says “Oh, Lord!”, and “Oh, Jesus!”.

She’s either cursing or praying out loud, either of which are not allowed in the public school system as far as I know.

It’s discpicable for a teacher to treat a child like that.

Or some sort of acknowledgment, in honor of her father’s service to our country, and in honor of her courage to speak up in a class headed by a rotten teacher.

I’m a public school teacher in Massachusetts.

Keep fighting the good fight, sir. One at a time is all it takes.

I was incredibly liberal until I hit college and saw what liberals stood for. My wife was incredibly liberal (still is a Dem) until she found out what we paid in taxes the year after we were married.

Sometimes it takes awhile for the light to come on. Patience is a virtue. :-)

I just called the school down there. I plan to write a letter. Intimidation is not good for any teaching environment. Education is about the sharing of ideas and the community of learning - this is NOT the way it is supposed to be.

I am in college to become a teacher and have shared this with one of my profs and the rest of my class. I hope this gets the publicity it deserves.

She’s teaching in Fayetteville so Asheville’s Supt. would not be the same one. Those cities are hundreds of miles apart.

I have called the elementary school and need to find out who’s on the Board of Education.

Another reason for ME to become a teacher! Homeschooling isn’t for everyone! We need good teachers and need to encourage good Christian people to go into the field of teaching.

Yes and imagine having to attend school with a teacher that speaks Ebonics! Ugh.

Indeed. And these are 10 years olds no less. I hate it when the college profs do it. It is absolutely unacceptable behavior.

Someone said her spouse is on the school board. If we really care about all of our children, we must write letters.

Good for you! This video is a great example of how NOT to teach. It would be excellent if more education students would see it. Unfortunately, most education professors would see nothing wrong with it.

I don’t know what has happened to NC.

NJ happened to NC. Who do you think lives in all those new housing developments?

That’s why I’m in the class - I keep them in line. As I mentioned, I sent this to all the students. It’s good to know what’s out there.

Thanks for the encouragement! I need it right now. I’ve been so weary lately since I’m only halfway through and the liberal profs are getting me down and because they nearly ALL are liberal, it’s frustrating.

Make sure that when you fill out professor evaluations at the end of the semester, you document their extreme liberal bias. Start writing down exact quotes and include them on your evaluation form. Sign your name so that it goes to the department head. The prof. can't read them until after grades are in.

Do some research on the fact that when the methods they advocate are implemented, they always result in a drop in test scores. These liberal education professors are completely misleading future teachers. I went back to school a few years ago to add a math endorsement to my certificate and I could not believe how bad it had gotten since I first got my degree.

She’s getting away with this in FAYETTEVILLE? Military needs to pull all of its children attending this school and send them elsewhere. Your U.S. tax dollars are going to this harpie, since the military pays a subsidy to schools attended by children of service personnel.

I thought of that right away. That’s Fort Bragg right there. I hope the NC folks get wind of this. That teacher needs a good “talking to.”

Well... you’re gonna love this. My education prof has brought up Bill Ayers in class several times. The first time, I immediately commented that the man deserved to be in prison. Now whenever she brings him up, she looks at me and says, “is it okay if I talk about Bill Ayers?” I don’t know what her game is but I have not been very vocal because I AM concerned about my grade in this very subjective class.

I not only plan to send in an evaluation but write her personally and express some of my feelings. She is a nice woman otherwise. When she said she wanted to talk about him the other day, I wish I would’ve thought to say, “are you going to give me good news and tell me he finally got put in jail?”

As for the evaluations, keep in mind that the people reading them most likely have the same world views so it really comes to no good purposes. I do try to speak up as much as possible without stepping on their toes too much.

Perhaps you know by now, but the teacher does not teach in the school district you mentioned. I had written a letter to the School Board Members you listed and received a reply that she worked for the Cumberland school district. I replied to the members with an apology.

Please ping me when you get the correct information on the School Board and address of members. I wrote an apology to the School Board in Asheville that I had written to after receiving info from them that she teaches in Cumberland school district. Thanks!

A child cannot wear a t-shirt to school that simply says “Jesus,” but the teacher can spit out “Oh, Jesus!” when that child says she supports McCain.

Unbelievable.

The quickest and most efficient way to defund and undermine the Left in these next years is to HOMESCHOOL YOUR CHILDREN.

If every family that could possibly do so, took their children out of public school, things would start changing mighty fast.

We have taken ours out. No patriot should have their child in the government indoctrination centers.
