Make sure that when you fill out professor evaluations at the end of the semester, you document their extreme liberal bias. Start writing down exact quotes and include them on your evaluation form. Sign your name so that it goes to the department head. The prof. can't read them until after grades are in.
Do some research on the fact that when the methods they advocate are implemented, they always result in a drop in test scores. These liberal education professors are completely misleading future teachers. I went back to school a few years ago to add a math endorsement to my certificate and I could not believe how bad it had gotten since I first got my degree.
Well... you’re gonna love this. My education prof has brought up Bill Ayers in class several times. The first time, I immediately commented that the man deserved to be in prison. Now whenever she brings him up, she looks at me and says, “is it okay if I talk about Bill Ayers?” I don’t know what her game is but I have not been very vocal because I AM concerned about my grade in this very subjective class.
I not only plan to send in an evaluation but write her personally and express some of my feelings. She is a nice woman otherwise. When she said she wanted to talk about him the other day, I wish I would’ve thought to say, “are you going to give me good news and tell me he finally got put in jail?”
As for the evaluations, keep in mind that the people reading them most likely have the same world views so it really comes to no good purposes. I do try to speak up as much as possible without stepping on their toes too much.
