Bet the folks in Asheville will be scrambling to prove she doesn’t teach in their district. I sure would be! Some of them will likely write me back.....I wonder why the youtube video says Asheville and shows a picture of downtown at the very end of the video?
She said somewhere that the video ‘was editing to make it look like that’ Uh huh. The look on that little girls face told me the truth.
I believe she may live in Asheville. I found an article that as recently as 2004 she did teach in that area. My guess is that the Finnish TV station that did the interview broadcast her home town.
However, I think it’s pretty good that people will think it’s Asheville and start emailing them too. It may force Asheville to put out a public comment that .... no she doesn’t teach here, try Cumberland, thus drawing even more attention
Where I quit watching was where the teacher singled out the girl and said something like “Talk. Cause your Daddy’s in the military. Talk now.”
She threw it all on this poor child who has no say about what her father is doing.
No child should have that kind of pressure on her.
I just watched it at the link. Did anyone save it?
I think that would be a good idea. I have no clue how.
of course this teacher brow beated her... parents gave up their rights over 100 years ago when they handed their precious children over to the government... for 13 years, day after day, year after year, the government indoctrinates children who attend their schools of liberal indoctrination...
ping
Teacher of the year material right there.
Of course not. Heck I think half the schools in this state are "Schools of Excellence" or somesuch made-up feel-good nonsense. Not exactly sure what qualifies as "Excellence" in a state which is perpetually locked in a battle with Mississippi for worst SAT scores.
I was listening to KLBJ in Austin the other day and a lady called in and said they had a “mock” election in her daughter’s 6th grade class.
The lady was a conservative but the teacher had told the kids that Hussein wanted to “bring change” to America and John McCain had been in jail.
Who do you think won that “mock” election?
At the three schools that I work at as a School Psychologist I’ve had conversations with teachers and other staff who did not vote for Obama and cannot understand how any one did vote for this unqualifed person. I have found it rather shocking that public school teachers where I work made some of the comments I’ve been hearing of late.
BTTT!
We need to go after these people and get them all fired! Make their lives hell as the libtards did any conservative.
Let’s investigate this woman as they did Joe The Plumber...dig up dirt on her
The video is still there. I just got around to watching it now. Poor girl. That so-called teacher should be fired.
Good job, everyone, in getting this video moving!
I received a rude email from one of the Asheville School Board members early this morning. She said, “Cindy, I’m not sure where you got your information, but this woman does not and has never taught in Buncombe County.”
Yes, they're all either "Schools of Excellence" or "Schools of Distinction." My neighbors are underwhelmed at the "excellence" of our local elementary school. And my teenagers hear horror stories about the high schools.
One article I read yesterday indicated that she HAD taught in Asheville schools as recently as 2004.
That being said, I’ll bet the super in Asheville is going to be having a chat with the super in Cumberland today.
Poor girl. When the teacher starts yelling at her, the girl just sits there silently. It’s just like leftists to pick on the defenseless. Haven’t been able to read all of the posts yet. Did anyone ask where the ACLU was when this teacher exclaimed “Oh Lord!” and “Oh Jesus!” in response to the students who said they were supporting McCain?
