News has been circulating around GOP insiders for weeks that McCain campaign honchos Rick Davis and Steve Schmidt were planning to blame Sarah Palin for McCain’s loss. This was expected to be an effort to punt the blame for their own failures to the side of the ticket that was most popular with the base, attracted the largest rally crowds, and scared the living bejeepers out of the opposing party.

I was moved to wait hours to see her when she came here. I was moved to put a bumper sticker on my car and do a lot of phone calling for McCain. I even re-read his autobiography.

If John McCain does not come out publicly and refute these horrible rumors, and stand up for the Veep choice that got him many of his 50 million votes, than I am not sure he is even half a decent man.

Clowns like Rick Davis and Charlie Black have been rattling around DC for a long time. They were involved in Dole’s campaign, and we all recall how successful that was.

Matter of fact, why don’t we examine the similarities:

1. War hero.
2. Moderate squish senator.
3. Rejection of real conservative positions.
4. Refusal to truly engage their opponent, a repeat of this fatuous notion of “taking the high road.”
5. A very stirring concession speech that disappears into the mists of time.

Same exact formula as before. And I’m sure these clowns (Davis and Black) collected tidy fees for their “services” both times.

The message that has to be sent in the next cycle is that anyone who ends up on the crap list constitutes grounds for denying any and all donations to the campaign. ie, “You have Charlie Black or Rick Davis on your staff? Yea? Well, you ain’t getting a dime out of me. (click)”

Yep. Note how he never blasted the Dems, only HIS party. He was a disgrace, through and through... He may not be a traitor to this country (though the jury's out on that), but he IS a traitor to our cause.

I always said... He's rather go down with dignity, become part of history, than fight and be labeled in a negative manner by the MSM. I absolutely despise him, and always have.

Maybe we need to find their emails and start emailing them. Let’s put them in the spotlight. Their behavior is disrespectful and it reflects poorly on them.

I want to shine the light on them because I want people to think twice about hiring them. Any Conservative campaign has to have honest trustworthy people or it won’t succeed.

These staffers need to take some accountability for McCain’s failure. It is disgusting.

That's a chic thing more than a lib/con thing.

Like I said, they ridicule her. It is the RINOs that are afraid of her and what she represents.

Call the media and ask them to shut up about this crap and
find obamers birth proof and any number of other criminal
activities the democrats have been part of.

Nice try tho.

Kind of hard to pin a loss on someone THAT YOU PICKED TO BE IN THAT SPOT. Besides, Palin obviously connected with people. Without her, McCain would have been speaking to crowds of about 15 members at local VFWs.

I know. I cannot imagine another more than 3000 to 5000 people coming out to see McCain with another Rino on the ticket.

Palin is the only reason this was not a 1964 style Barry Goldwater vs Lyndon Johnson landslide.

McCain would have carried only Arizona and maybe 3 or 4 other states with somebody like Tom Ridge on the ticket.

If you made the contribution by credit card, you can contest it for up to 180 days and it will be charged back to them. That is, if you feel you were defrauded in any way...

Schmidt... that’s the bastard’s name I couldn’t remember. Shortly after the first polls started closing, FNC asked him if he felt Gov. Palin was a good pick and he said he’d be able to tell after the election. He was purely telegraphing that he planned on blaming her.

To all of you who are trying to commit Palancide, ever hear of Benedict Arnold? No matter what you think, everyone is laughing at you for the turncoats you are and will never trust you for anything serious again. You will be known as the National Enquirer group or the gossipers and no matter where you go, people will never trust you again and will doubt everything you say. You are hurting yourself far more than you ever could hurt Sarah Palin. She will come out of this at some point, but you who trash her won’t. You will never be trusted again and people will look at you for the infighting you are causing and say that shows this party can’t get it together and if a third party comes from this, people will in fact point at you. Even those whose ears you are bending now, will not trust you in the future and label you all gossipers and liars who were just jealous.

What is wrong with these people. Obama Out spent them 3 to 1, It is a tough year for a Republican regardless, The financial meldown was the straw that broke the camels back and yet they are trying to blame Palin...

Sarah Palin gave energy and direction to the McCain ticket didn’t they notice the poll jump directly after the convention? didn’t they see that no matter how good Obama’s ground game was the McCain Palin Ticket was going to Bowel over him if the ecnomic failure had not happened...

You know who needs to get canned and reported on is the Idiot that counseled McCain not to get on the side of the PEOPLE when it came to bailing out Wall St. His protest of that bill would have won him the election.

Whoever these idiots are talking all this crap now need to shut up and go away I am sick of it.
