I was moved to wait hours to see her when she came here. I was moved to put a bumper sticker on my car and do a lot of phone calling for McCain. I even re-read his autobiography.
If John McCain does not come out publicly and refute these horrible rumors, and stand up for the Veep choice that got him many of his 50 million votes, than I am not sure he is even half a decent man.

McCain is heading back to his clubby senate seat to resume "reaching across the aisle". He needs to distance himself from the partisanship of the campaign in order to be "effective" again. That means distancing himself from Palin.
