Regular Folks United ^ | November 6, 2008 | Kerri Houston Toloczko

News has been circulating around GOP insiders for weeks that McCain campaign honchos Rick Davis and Steve Schmidt were planning to blame Sarah Palin for McCain’s loss. This was expected to be an effort to punt the blame for their own failures to the side of the ticket that was most popular with the base, attracted the largest rally crowds, and scared the living bejeepers out of the opposing party.

I wonder why no one is bringing up the fact the OBAMA LIED about what funds source we was going to use. If he done like McCain and used the same funds source he wouldn’t have had the money to have all them damned ads that I hated so much to see and he wouldn’t have stolen Indiana, virginia, North Carolina, Florida, etc.

It is not BS... McCain endorses attacking Palin by his refusal to come out and refute it today... and he came to the aid of obammy in 15 minutes when a campaign aid used obammy’s middle name hussein.

“he went on SNL with her.”

Did you SEE McCain’s SNL appearance? He did NOT go on SNL with her, but with her imitator, Tina Fey. The skit he agreed on participating in was a trashy putdown, but he somehow saw humor in it. Palin as the Neiman Marcus QVC spending gal. Palin going rogue (aka looking out for herself for 2012.) I can’t understand why he would approve those skits, which poked fun at Palin, very little at himself.

Palin scares the poop out of the left.

I'd like to see a Sara Palin/Bobby Jindal GOP ticket with EITHER ONE at the top of the ticket!

Too late... McCain blew it AGAIN... He has waited far too long to come to Palin’s defense... he defended barry within 15 minutes.

The over-heated and poorly paragraphed run-on propaganda barrage doesn’t work well here, Mamma. You are either a shill or have been duped by the mouthpieces on telly.

"Senior campaign officials should stand up like grownups and take responsibility for the outcome of the campaign instead of throwing the girl under the bus. "

Exactly, if they don't like the job Palin did, then they have only themselves to blame, they picked her.

I am under the impression that both candidates were going to take only public financing and that Obama suckered McCain by signing a pledge then not honoring it.

You both make good points. Obama was using Rule 4 from Alinsky's Rules for Radicals

RULE 4: "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."

The rules that are being used in this planted story of Palin vs. McCain are rules 5, 8, and 12. Our side needs to learn to use these rules successfully against the left.

It wasn't the VP debate it was the first Presidential debate and it didn't get postponed if you recall.

He thought he could go in there and save the day when the House republicans were against the bailout.

It made him look very weak and the evil Dems used it against him. They privately called him to Washington and then in public said they didn't need him. He was used once again by his “Friends” on the other side. Dems are very good a being duplicitous. They have it down to an art form. The Republicans are very naive and fall for it all the time.

“Memo to the McCain hacks:
Palin’s the only reason you got one dime out of me.”

Same here.

I cant read all this crap in any detail, and it pains me to hear it being discussed at all by rush and ingraham.

Just despicable behavior.

I wish there was a way 56,000,000 of us could secede and elect Sarah our president. Let everyone else go to hell.
