How's that big tent looking for the GOP today, eh?
With the Republican left out in force sliming Sarah Palin today, we desperately need to keep a record of these treacherous, back-biting vipers who are right now trying to destroy the one good thing to emerge for conservatives during this election cycle.
With any luck, this list can serve as an archive of the traitors in our midst who should NEVER get any support from Conservatives again. With these folks in our ranks, the conservative movement will never make any progress.
The purge should begin right now.
Your comparison doesn’t make sense.
Commies purge other commies because they hate freedom and fear their enemies who want to usurp them.
The GOP needs purging (substitute another word if you like) of defeatists, moderates, RINOS, social liberals, tax and spend liberals, east coast and ivy league elitists, snobs and similiar deadwood that gave us Obama. (Along with ACORN, middle eastern money, and the MSM which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Democrat party/leftsts.)
That does it I'm not voting for them either.
First off, who are these eastern urban establishment elites, and how, exactly do they "engineer" who is selected in the primaries?
I think youre right, they supported the Palin selection because they thought it would appeal to a certain class of gun clinging, bible reading people in the hinterlands.
Secondly, do you not see the irony of using that characterization in the same post you accuse others of being no different than democrats.
Maybe Im just being paranoid but the timing of our recent economic crisis seems very suspicious to me. Why was it necessary to react to a crisis that has been building for over a year four weeks before the election?
Talk about your October Surprise, it destroyed McCains momentum and brought his campaign to a grinding halt. Could advancing the bail-out when he did have been President Bushs one last swipe and McCain and at the same time damaging Governor Palin enough to make sure that the reins of power in the Republican Party remained in the hands of people who shared his more liberal views?
I'm not sure I understand what you are suggesting... are you suggesting Bush used the bail-out to prevent McCain from being elected? (was "last swipe and McCain" supposed to be "last swipe at McCain"?)
“McCain is FINISHED! PERIOD!”
What year is he up for re-election to Senate? Gotta sabotage that endeavor.
Howzabout boycotting the beer that’s distributed by Cindy’s company? “Budweiser ... is brewed by Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc., whose products have made Cindy McCain and her family a fortune.”
“...proposing a boycott of FOX...”
That ship sailed a long time ago.
THanks, I just emailed McCain, now I will email Palin.
“I will always support her, but not for 2012..”
You’ll ALWAYS support her, but NOT for 2012? Isn’t 2012 included in ALWAYS?
2. Sorry, should have said "I think youre right, they supported the Palin selection because they thought it would appeal to what they perceive asb> a certain class of gun clinging, bible reading people in the hinterlands." All irony intended. I over over edited a sentence that was becoming even too run on for my tastes.
3. Sorry again, I meant "at", not "and". If I could type I'd be dangerous. GWB and McCain have been sniping at one another for years, to the detriment of the party and the country.
Can I borrow your time-bending crystal ball? Gonna stop and pick up some Powerball tickets tonight.
When people have eaten something bad, they take a purge.
The GOP has rot in its innards. They need a purge.
Good catch.
Be my guest.
Had Sarah not been put on the ticket, McCain would have been reduced to the floor of Republican support, which seems to be about 40%.
Assuming about a 7% swing to Obama from McCain in each state for a rough 60-40 split, the GOP would have lost AZ (10), GA (15), MS (6), MO (11), MT (3), ND (3), SC (8), SD (3), TX (34) and WV (5), for a total of 98 electoral votes, dropping the Republican total to 76, raising the Obama total to 462.
Imagine the media crowing about the loss of the Solid South, crackup in the West, and McCain not carrying his own state.
McCain would have gone down in history with Landon, McGovern and Mondale as pathetic landslide losers.
Which is where he’ll still go down, anyway.
You’re out of your mind. Nazis and Commies purge their enemies by killing them.
The GOP needs the deadwood removed. You’re saying we should keep on as normal? Allow RINOS, moderates, eunuchs and elists to run the party?
>>>”Moderates have values? Can she name us a few?”
Absolutely. Baby-killing, gay marriage, big spending, big government and fellatiating Democrats.<<<
Well said.
But if she ran in 2012, although I don't want to see her subjected to this again and not sure she could win against Hillary, yes, I will vote for her, make my ALWAYS conditional.
She needs to sharpen her intellect, read some serious books, travel, sharpen up on foreign policy, beef up her resume. I don't doubt she has a lot of potential.
For whatever she is perceived as lacking, whether real or not, I don't necessarily fault her for it, but I figure she was too busy with her duties and family to do much else.
Would any of the ROmneyBOTS share with FReeRepublic a picture of that chair their Master sent his minion?
Do these people have some power I'm unaware of that allows them to nominate their choices for candidates contrary to the consent of the primary voters?
what they perceive as
I appreciate your clarification.

Are you genuinely wondering if you are paranoid to suspect that Bush timed the "economic crisis" to thwart McCain's presidential run, with the added bonus of damaging Palin?
I find it very interesting that now with Palin decoupled from McCain, the McCain glow is back to what it was BEFORE the convention.
IOW all of the support for McCain was just a reflected light from Mrs. Palin.
