Fox Dishes The Dirt On Palin
Washington Independent ^ | 11/6/08 9:25 AM | Matthew DeLong

Posted on 11/06/2008 7:52:14 AM PST by do the dhue

The effort within the McCain campaign’s upper ranks to pin Sen. John McCain’s loss of the presidential election on Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is now in full swing, and Fox News’ Carl Cameron eagerly plays the gossip columnist.

On “Fox Report” last night with Shephard Smith, Cameron said he learned during the campaign that many within the McCain team were concerned that Palin “lacked the degree of knowledgeability” to be a heartbeat away from the presidency — but agreed not to report the details until the after the election.

I think Mac became jealous of Sarah as she stole his thunder.

Certainly possible...earlier this year (late July) he arrived in Manchester, NH by plane, and only one reporter and a photographer were there to greet him.

If you always base opinions on rumor and CYA statements made by Anonymous, your support is likely not missed.

I'll watch Hannity with the remote in my hand so I can mute Colmes.

then you're still supporting FNC... we conservatives are too weak-kneed... it's like we suffer from battered wife syndrome... we are lots of talk, no action...

It’s obvious you didn’t read my response...

I NEVER promoted a RINO...I used the word CONSERVATIVE. I have no use for RINO’s, never have.

Once someone has their 15 minutres of fame they ought to bow out gracefully. The electorate has a very short attention span.

Speak for yourself, not me! I'm NOT "weak kneed"! Hannity was the ONLY one who stayed in the fight until the end.

Dear God, this just isn't your day. You're putting your foot in your mouth with one stupid post after another. Please, take some time off, because this is just embarrassing to watch.

Please, come back when you can think past statements such as, “It's her party now...” You can't really be that freaking stupid. If you are, could please limit your comments to speaking for yourself instead of the Republican party? I have a hunch you have about as much influence within the party as Al Franken.

Then again, in true juvenile fashion you also said, “I wish people like you would jump off the bus.” so maybe you are that stupid. Please, grow up before you continue posting.

actually, i am not speaking for myself... i am not weak-kneed... i have determined to turn away from all of FOX News Channel... they are not fair and balanced... it doesn't matter how they compare with the competition... i listen to Sean on the radio... i will not give FNC an audience... not even a peek to see what's going on... until we leave the msm in an exodus, conservatives are all talk...

Are you really willing to go on record saying you believe a 44 year old college educated woman who has held three government posts doesn't know Africa is a continent, because an "unnamed source" claims so?

Really?

Have any of the flailing and ineffectual anti-Sarah trolls hereabouts ever ever EVER answered this question, once you've put it to 'em...? ;)

Cred, yeah cred - like being a Governor, maybe? A popular one at that? Maybe being clearly and visibly a part of the small business middle class? How about someone who lives the prolife meme? She maybe could have a son serving in the military for more cred?

Thanks for the ((((((PING))))).

I don't know how I missed this thread that started Thursday. But from reviewing many of the comments I'm glad I did.

It seems like a bunch of MORONS escaped from the asylum and found access to the Internet.

“Sarah Palin brought spirit to the campaign but also showed a lack of stature that is required of a president (not saying that either Obama or Biden has it either).”

That comment let me look at something from a new (to me) angle.

When I was a teenager, I made a new friend. My mother was immediately hostile, saying that he was a no-goodnik. I thought she was just (insert teenage idiocy here).

He broke into our house and stole a valuable object. The police arrested him in the attempt to sell it. Mater’s greater life experience allowed her to read this scumbag, while I was yet too callow to see what was obvious to her.

That’s what we have going on in politics today.

Too many are unable to evaluate the character of the candidates. Many of us saw Bill Clinton as a despicable scoundrel within seconds. Millions are still blissfully oblivious. Ditto Chairman Maobama. Libtards are unable to see that Bush is a pretty decent guy.

Today, libtards and RINOs are unable to read the Cuda’s character. She’s real, and unless the forces of evil destroy her through malicious prevarication, those three little words that no one seems brave enough to utter will become impossible to ignore: “Not since Reagan, not since Reagan, not since Reagan, not since Reagan...”

Now that he is about to ride off into the sunset, the MSM is changing its tune.

On one of the tlak radio shows this week, the host played a series of soundbytes where the MSM scoundrels were describing GWB duirng his meeting with the Fraud as “he’s gracious, he was very gracious, he’s gracious, etc.”

It was as if they sent a memo out to all the media outlets as to what to say and they all toed the socialist company line.

Apart from everything else, I am absolutely convinced that the evidence shows that Sarah Palin is SMARTER than John McCain. She’s not only wiser and more sensible, she has a higher IQ.

I used to think that McCain was ego-driven, when he did things like betray his fellow POW-MIAs or dumped his first wife to marry a rich heiress who could buy his way into the Senate; but I’ve been gradually coming around to the view that he’s just too dumb to know any better.

And frankly, she’s smarter than most of those talking heads as well, including Carl Cameron, whoever the hell he is.

“Is FOX influenced by the RINO’s and country-club Republicans?”

Is that the right question?

What do you get when you add a teaspoon of raw sewage to a bucket of clean water?

A bucket of sewage.

Fox allows libtards to speak. That is the teaspoon of raw sewage.

“he’s gracious, he was very gracious, he’s gracious, etc.”

Yeah, but that’s not about Bush. That’s about the libtards reestablishing *themselves* as gracious and civil.

I think of it like this:

If Sarah Palin was really stupid, her enemies (foreign (outside the RNC) and domestic (inside the RNC)) would just give her enough rope and let her hang herself. But instead, they are attacking her because she is a bad arse and will be a formidable foe by not hanging herself.
