Good find.

It shows that the polls for the most part were right on target or very close to pegging the actual results.

Yes People, Sampling is a Science and a very accurate science.

Wow, so to get a fairly accurate pole estimate you have to take the average of two to three dozen different poles? I wonder if this is also an average of the various types of voters as well i.e. registered voters, likely voters, etc.

... in any one state there are maybe 6 to 10 pollsters, Rasmussen, Gallup, Reuters usually included, but the others are pretty much local to the state ... universities, newspapers and such ... each point on the curves is a single poll, no averages involved ...
