'Impeach Obama' groups pop up on Facebook

Barack Obama has not even been sworn in yet as the 44th president of the United States but groups are springing up online calling for his impeachment. On Facebook, an "Impeach Barack Obama" group has attracted more than 700 members and a lively debate about the Democrat's election victory on Tuesday over Republican John McCain.

Another Facebook group of the same name has 160 members and urges others to join because "we might as well get a head start on the impeachment of Obama."

"There are a lot of Americans out there that do not fully understand the concept of Socialism or Communism which is why they've elected Obama as president," it says.

Yet another Facebook group, "Impeach Barack Hussein Obama," has 160 members.

It decries that Obama "has voiced support for various unconstitutional programs such as the assault weapons ban, universal healthcare, and various schemes for wealth distribution."

This is trifling and stupid.

Something liberals do.

The Man is the President and until a court finds that any laws were broken in such a way that they ouright won him the Presidency, this is a stupid notion.

Anyone ranting about this is simply not a Conservative. We dont deal in half truths, implication and supposition.

He won fair and square (relatively speaking). Stop trying to overturn the will of the American people.

I do not like Obama or any of the policies he stands for but he has been elected. I think we should at least give him a chance before we call for his head on a platter. Although I’m not holding out a lot of hope. But we (America) are in my prayers.

I can understand you deem things like this as trival. A part of me even agrees. However there are aspects to this that you don’t seem to “get.”

Fair and square? In what universe? Not with the rampant voter fraud that went on. And we knew about that for quite some time with ACORN shenanigans. We KNEW.

I truly believe that a majority of people in this Republic are in for a world of hurt with this empty shell of a president. That includes those who voted for him out of ignorance, idealism, white guilt, whatever.

It is then that we will have our ammunition against this monster. And conservatives fight. We FIGHT!

.

Those who want to tuck tail and skulk away may do so, but I intend Continue to fight, to discredit and try to bring Obama down.

This election was stolen by a Muslim/Marxist who had the power of millions of dollars worth of illegal campaign funds, the most powerful black radical racists, Muslim terrorists and America haters on the globe behind him.

He won’t bask in the glory of his victory in peace. We intend to go after him:

Obama will probably be threatened with impeachment if he defies the Congressional leadership. Why do think his birth records have been locked up? So that it can be used against him if he steps off the plantation. Why do you think he chose Biden as his Veep? To protect himself from any attempt to remove him.

If it happens, we should stay out of that fight. We can only hurt ourselves by getting involved in a catfight among liberals. We should just stand back and let them destroy each other, while we stay focused on our principles and priorities.

"You do remember dueling and our political leaders killing one another over ideology, don't you?" You're welcome to challenge any one of them to a duel if you want to I guess. Hey, I remember that we used to hang people for treason. Or that you could charge someone with treason for aiding the enemy. But we've become--in some ways--a nicer society. I'm a Christian, sir. And I don't see where the Lord allows for taking somebody's life over a duel--which is basically an interpersonal squabble. I like being civil. I don't think that being civil cost the election. I think too much John McCain reflexive compromise lost the election.

It is the WINNING attitude... take no prisoners... destroy your enemy... leave him no place to hide and no way to feed himself.

I am sorry that you missed my entire point... yes, we are a more civil society and I do not want to bring back dueling. Fighting a domestic enemy using the truth and using your enemies tactics to defeat him is not unChristian.

Politics is all about Caesar and I know as a Christian that JESUS told us to render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and unto GOD that which is GOD’s. I am going to render unto barry that which his people have rendered unto America for the past 8 years. I hope this clears things up for you.

Jesus also made a point of putting the leaders of the community in thier place, when it came to things that were Gods.

Since the group coming into power anti-christian, I believe we have a duty to call them out, where things of God are concerned.

Abortion, Church and State issue, God as designed in the Constitution, and the rights of Christians, as a whole.

We will give BHO the same level of respect that the left gave GWB. Unfortunately, that can’t include SmirkingChimp.com (already taken and if turned about, a hate crime).

“... we should stay out of that fight. We can only hurt ourselves by getting involved in a catfight among liberals. We should just stand back and let them destroy each other, while we stay focused on our principles and priorities.”

What makes you think they are going to turn on each other? That is wishful thinking. When Carter had a Democratic 2/3 majority at least a large number of them were moderate to conservative. Today, there are very few conservative dems. Our side has to be the catalyst to cause dissension amongst the ranks of the Dems. We can’t just sit back and hope for the best.

They will. Their interests are not the same. It happened in Mass. Deval Patrick was going to change the way they do business in Boston. The Democratic party bosses were perfectly happy with the way business was being done in Boston. They won.

Congressional leadership is mostly interested in getting elected so that they can provide patronage and pork for the local party structure so that they can continue to get elected. Any attempt on the part of Obama to change that will be met with a blizzard of congressional investigations of his administration, and him.

Don’t forget, the Whitewater investigation began in a Democrat congress. So did the emasculation of Burt Lance.
