The Taleban issued a press release saying that one of their fighters was killed and two wounded in the fighting. The group claimed to have killed 13 American soldiers and destroyed an armoured vehicle.

Be sure to read all the way to the bottom of the story where this acknowledgment is found. Seems the Taliban is responsible for this and continues it's practice of seeking shelter among civilians, deliberately causing this kind of tragedy.
