Earlier today Fox News made it sound as though this guy was calling out the losers who were sabotaging Palin and he sided with her.

Scheunemann became close with Palin during her debate prep process.

Does this mean that Scheunemann was taking her side and now he's thrown under the bus?!

Wow! At least when the election was over the bashing of Goldwater stopped -- I recall a couple of columns even asking, "Did we go too far destroying Goldwater?"

The RINOs must hate Gov. Palin almost as much as the Rat Party (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party) hates her.

It's not the first time a conservative is targeted by the MSM employees and the Republican Party "elite" -- just imagine what the Rat Party (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party) is planning.

Nelson Rockefeller told his staff that, in the words of his public relations head, Stuart Spencer, "We had to destroy Barry Goldwater as a member of the human race."

The article said — “He was positioning himself with Palin at the expense of John McCain’s campaign message,” said one of the aides.

Well, McCain had nothing. It was Palin who had it all...

I just sent this to Senator McCain.

Dear Senator McCain,

I made calls for you, knocked on doors for you, argued for your support, and voted for you, but if what I am hearing online and in the news is true, that some of your staff is trashing Governor Palin, I will have lost all respect for you. If you have some rogue a**holes working for you, as all businesses have, you need to come out very publicly and praise and support Sarah, since you already did that for Obama. Sir, please keep, the ultimate respect, that I have for you, intact.

Thank you,

FReeper Fedupjohn

Maybe he knew that aligning with Palin was the winning strategy where the others were busy trashing her behind even McCain's back?

He was Trent Lott’s National Security Aide and was an advisor to U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Iraq

USA Today reports on the lobbying career of John McCain’s top foreign policy adviser Randy Scheunemann, noting that Schuenemann “lobbied the Arizona senator’s staff on behalf of the republic of Georgia while he was working for the campaign”

McCain should have fired his ENTIRE communications staff over the Katie Couric/Charles Gibson interviews. Pre taped interviews ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! with the drive bys? Rush Limbaugh NEVER does those. It's a live interview or nothing. Who was running that communications team...Mickey Mouse?...wait Mickey Mouse would have actually done a better job than whatever hacks signed off on the nonsense that made Palin look horrible.

Couric and Gibson took their interview edits and created "Palin flubs of the day" to make it look like she did 14 different interviews with 14 different flubs.

Scheunemann was taking money from the Georgian government one year, and then advising McCain what to do about the Georgia-Russia conflict the next.

Did he press McCain to say we are all Georgians now?

I hope it's false that he's gotten to Palin.

"He was positioning himself with Palin at the expense of John McCain's campaign message," said one of the aides.

Now there's one principled conservative Republican who knows the score.

In three short years McCain will be on a book tour with Joe Liebermann, while Sarah Palin will be kicking @ss on a Presidential primary along with this visionary aide.

McCain’s barebones campaign absorbed a lot of Romney staff after the primaries. Not long after that lots of negative rumors and leaks started coming out of the McCain campaign about every potential VP pick — except for Romney — who supposedly was on the verge of being picked, according to McCain campaign ‘insiders’.

Then when Sarah Palin was picked, lots of leaks started coming out that undermined her... remember the one about her speech being written by a Bush speechwriter?

The rumors and leaks continued, and got worse, culminating in what Fox News has been reporting all day. Interesting how all of this stuff seems to be directed at whomever is a biggest obstacle to Romney’s aspirations at the time?

The McCain aids are out in full force attacking Palin. A number of unflattering things said about her: temper tantrums, limited knowledge or no knwledge about mundane facts, etc. Fox News, BORE all this evening.
