One of the aides tells CNN that campaign manager Rick Davis fired Scheunemann after determining that he had been in direct contact with journalists spreading "disinformation" about campaign aides, including Nicolle Wallace and other officials.

"He was positioning himself with Palin at the expense of John McCain's campaign message," said one of the aides.

Question is, "Was Condi Rice a proud American before Obama as a President?"

Watch the media skip that question. Damn her

and damn Powell.

It is time for some serious questions in this land.

If you are BLACK and proud too be an American only because a black man was elected, YOU WERE NO AMERICAN IN THE FIRST PLACE.

You were / are a racist bum.

I guess all this is irrelevant since McCain was the loser, isn’t it?

Palin Has to write a book Detailing what happened to her on the campaign and in the media. It would be a best seller and clear her name. Plus detail her real positions.

I agree.

She is like a phenomenally gifted but raw young pitcher who has rocketed his way through the minor leagues to the big show. She pitched a shutout at the Convention, but then had a few erratic games. She needs proper seasoning, but when she has it, she'll win 20 games and the Cy.

Her biggest problem is with women, especially single women. I think for now she should lie low, concentrating on Alaska business and building up her approval rating to pre-campaign levels if possible. Not long after the inauguration, she should start going on woman-friendly programs such as Oprah and Regis & Kelly for some girl talk. Her ratings will be sky high and the interviewers will be clamoring for her. It will be refreshing to hear her speak her own words and not the script the McCain chowderheads put in her mouth. She can show the women of the country that she's a smart and levelheaded lady, and a mom like any other. By my calculation, if she can flip 20% of women to supporting her, she'd be at 50% of the electorate.

While she delivers a prepared speech better than any female politician I've ever seen, she is not as good at the extemporaneous stuff. She needs to speak in complete, well-thought-out sentences. That's a skill that can be taught and learned. As it is, she tends to speak in run-on, sometimes repetitive sentences that do not do justice to her intellect. She should spend a few hours a week with speech, rhetoric, and debate experts. Even Churchill did this, to great effect.

Her problems here were also a function of her lack of time to prepare for the whirlwind of the campaign. She needs to sharpen up her fund of knowledge on matters of national importance. As she writes her book, visits foreign countries, and starts to discuss more and more policy in her interviews, she will naturally become more and more familiar with the details of governance. By the time 2012 rolls around, she should be comfortable going on heavy-hitter shows like Meet the Press, O'Reilly, or Charlie Rose every month or two for some serious jawboning.

She'll want to start a PAC or foundation, raise oodles of money for herself and other candidates, and sponsor meetings and symposia where she can bounce ideas off the likes of Thomas Sowell and Newt Gingrich.

If she can do all this, and express the ideals of limited government, free-market capitalism, and individual liberty in clear, crisp language, then her star will shine brightly indeed and she should succeed in knocking Obama off in his run for a second term.

Imagine the outcome yesterday if Mac picked a Joe Lieberman, Tom Ridge, or Rob Portman as Veep. Nuff said.

Perhaps it’s time to splinter off and create a third party. Seems to me that moderate pubbies and RINO’s have not been getting along with conservatives for some time now. Need I list the moderates and RINO’s that have caused nothing but pain for the last two decades?

Just a thought.

I agree with everything you are saying. This is why I think in a couple years she could easily reintroduce herself to the American people. She will be a great asset to us for a long time coming if the morons backstabbing her will cut the crap.

I just fired off a bunch of e-mails to Fox I am so ticked off right now.

I was completely aghast when I saw that this morning... and they replayed it later in the day on Hume’s program.

First off I wanna say that I am almost, ALMOST sorry I voted for McCain now. But, I do feel good that I voted against Obama. Infact it makes me feel euphoric that I voted against him. And then again, I really voted for Palin. This trashing of her is an aggression that will not stand.

THIS AGGRESSION WILL NOT STAND MAN!

I think you can book it now, our nominee will be Jindal or Palin in 2012, and they will NOT take public financing. Others that I want to see run are Pawlenty, maybe Romney again depending on the economy at the time.

I wouldn’t discount Perry running either, but I think he is in the mold of Bush which can’t possibly be good in this political environment. Many are unhappy with property taxes here in Texas and some other spending issues, but I will say that Perry has presided over a pretty successful Texas economy. We might have the nations best economy at the moment, and our real estate market has been fairly stable. It is good to live in probably the reddest state there is.

DID NOT HAVE FOX NEWS ON ALL DAY !!!! PROUD TO SAY SO...I'm a FNews addict but have decided to block them for awhile, from what I've read here I'm glad I did..never watch the local news networks and CNN is another never at our house...

I was a weak supporter of McCain in the beginning, although I appreciate his military service, I became a PALIN fan before she was even chosen, and after she was picked, she inspired me to become a stronger spokesperson among my family, friends and even strangers...It is totally shameful to pick on her now, and it will just make people LIKE her more...

I hope she takes over this weak party of Republicans and gives us a renewed vision to move forward and become leaders again...

as for Hussein Obama, it is pay back time for ME...he shall be treated in the same manor that his party and supporters treated GWB, a good man whom the media destroyed.

just my two bits worth....

Jindal or Palin in 2012

I love love love these two but I have a terrible feeling the media will scorch them just so some totally beatable dope like Romney gets the nod and then he picks someone equally boring. Just to keep ‘dear leader’in power.

Well, you’ve seen my tagline, so you know my position. I also
voted for Palin. I wouldn’t send a dime to McCain till I found
out who he had picked for VP. I even suggested her to him in
an e-mail....along with about 50,000 others, I’m sure! LOL!

Perry is a weasel and I wouldn’t vote for him again even for
governor. I liked him at first, but when he started in with
the tollways, that cooked it for me.

THe folks running GOP organizations are dweebs to put it mildly. The NRSC and NRCC couldn’t raise anything. McCain couldn’t raise anything Sarah came along. Palin’s handlers really ill served her. While the MSM was smearing her, the handlers sheltered her instead of having her address the smears. Then they forced on Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson. Palin ought to sue her handlers for malpractice.

My understanding was that Scheunemann was backing Palin because the other two were spreading rumors about Sarah Palin!
