They forgot that conservatism is a political movement, NOT a political party

Utter nonsense.

My worry is that conservatives are in the minority. We are not as “big” as we think we are. Or someone pls explain to me how Mit Romney lost by running on conservative agenda?

The republican party existed as a separate entity before conservatives started to find their home in it. From Goldwater to Reagan movement conservatives strived to bring the party to the right, but we forgot to notice that conservatism and republicanism are not always mutual values or ideas.

“We have handed power to doctrinaire Marxists and they don’t do democracy. Hate laws will be passed to shut down any speech and opinion on the internet and make anything remotely conservative a prosecutable offense. In addition the fairness doctrine will be used to shut down talk radio or any type of discourse questioning those in power”.

If this is true, then how are you going to communicate? If there is no free speech, then there is no real non-violent movement possible.

The same way soviet dissidents did under soviet communism. There is always a way. Where laws are made, there are always loopholes.

Because the RNC picked our candidates.

I ran a congressional campaign in a district that is hispanic and democrats outnumber reps 4 to 1. We would ask ten questions of everyone on conservative positions. they agreed with them 90% of the time, yet they were registered democrats and voted accordingly. There is a disconnect between being a democrat in many cases and having conservative values (family, abortion). In classic terms as Lenin observed, just as people have no class consciousness, many conservatives on the dim side have no conservative consciousness, we need to bring that out and exploit it if we are to survive.

I'm seriously considering "active non-participation" in government as the best strategy going forward. Let the dems take it all down in flames. The less we oppose, the more rope we give them to hang themselves. Every step, we need only to paint them with it, as they will “eat their own”. They are fundamentally incapable of leading as a civil group within their own ranks, and I (we) should not do anything to prevent them of shooting themselves squarely in the foot (or head) with their own weapons. Let them sink on their own, as there will be conservatives and constitutionalists to set it all back to right after the crash. JMNSHO.

We MUST make it clear to Congressional Republicans that any of them who cooperate with Hussein’s Marxist agenda will be targeted in their primaries. We must make it clear to them that we, their donorship and voting base, are not in any way interested in being “bipartisan,” and we aren’t afraid of the fact that the media will call us racists for opposing anything 0bama proposes.

Conservatives and Republicans have always ignored the arts. I should post this as a vanity I suppose.

The arts —— literature, the plastic arts, movies, music. You can’t afford to do that.

Sponsoring the arts gives one an image of intellectuality and hipness and higher feelings. It would get rid of the image of Republicans and conservatives as knuckle draggers.

But I don’t think Republicans are going to do that.

Even starting a writer’s thread here on FR was impossible. Nobody reads.

Republicans have utterly ignored or abandoned the arts and that is a really bad thing, really bad. To put it in a simplistic way.

The Democrats always were involved in the arts and it gave them an image of superiority. Think of John and Jackie Kennedy going to the Met in black tie etc.

But you know what? The RNC never listens to people like me. They never listen to the base.

The Democrats fund the arts like there was no tomorrow.

Because that agenda was belied by his recent words and actions. He was mouthing platitudes that only the shallow believed he meant.

All those tactics were tried in my native argentina (read my links above). Never give the left an inch, once you do they take even more and get more brazen.

Leftists in control of everything important can just change things, anything and everything, so that they dominate the political stage forever! Conservatives play by the rules, while leftists don’t! I’m sure that you really mean well, but it officially is over for all of conservatism! The left can just decide to not have any more future elections, and they can also decide to make Barack Obama President for life! People will get angry about all of this, but if no successful civil war actually does happen, then the left will always be in total control forever, and I’m not kidding! When the majority of voters say, “Up yours!” to both the entire U.S. Constitution and the entire Bill of Rights, then it really is all over for U.S. conservatism! Say I’m wrong all you want to, be angry with me all you want to, and say that things will really change for the better for conservatism in two years, in four years,...but it’s officially over for conservatism here in this country. But, keep fighting the good fight all you want to, if it really makes you feel better.

The irony is that blacks will become an insignificant minority and Obama may very well be the first and only black president.
_________________________________

More ironic...

Obama is not even a “real” African-American...

He is not a descendant of black American slaves...

He is the descendant of Arab slave owners and slave traders, and white slave owners...

When will the black Americans get irked at the fact he really does not “identify” with them or understand their collective historical situation ?????

Yes he is the first POTUS to have “black” skin...

But not the first “black American” POTUS..

Obama has not really achieved anything...

Now, OTOH, if the new POTUS was Michael Steele...

Brilliant post.. Cacique.. simply brilliant..
and right on too.. The best analysis so far of the days events..

However, it is about 5 years to late I suppose maybe 8 years..
The Coup D'etat has materialized.. its a done deal..
The mistakes by the leftists learned under the Clintons will NOT be repeated..

What you failed to mention is that the United States academic institutions have been grooming professional Alinsky and Gramsci proponents for decades.. and will continue to do that.. Americas colleges graduate yearly the ground troops of the dictatorship of the proletariat..

Few people younger than fifty even know the horrors of socialism.. the brain wash was and is fairly complete.. American women have been brain washed quite thoroughly.. especially the educated ones..

The only light I see down the pipe is in certain States.. the "war" must be continued in the States.. There are ways hat a STATE can secede "in spirit" but not actually.. That is what MUST Be done.. Grass roots consolidation of force in "certain" States.. There must be an under ground created... not available NOW as far as I know.. Created NOW for in a short while it will be very hard to create one.. Created, trained, and deployed in sleeper and active cells by those that know how to do that..

Thats WHAT I THINK...

Yep. The fact is, what we are seeing is the natural order of things. The looters always grow to outnumber the producers, just as a population will outgrow its food supply. This is Malthusian truth in action.

“Sarah Palin will fade into the background, she is a candidate that excites the conservative base and for this reason they will try to neuter and discredit her before the four years are up.”

Nope, she will only fade away if we want her to. I for one, will begin making small donations to her starting today. By 2012 I’ll have been able to contribute the max, without wrecking my budget.
