The majority of voters are registered Democrats but are actually conservative. I wouldn't call them "conservative." Don't forget, Tulsa and Oklahoma counties (our largest metropolitan areas) went for Obama, even though the rest of the state went Republican.
OK democrats aren't so much conservative as they are alarmed by the rising socialism of their party.
