Kirk probably voted for Obama.

He is a RINO, votes right about half the time I'd say. but let's not get absurd with exaggerations he did not vote for Obama.

Hulshuf is a Washington guy (pro-pork ect) but come on, he’s not that bad, conservative voting record. Hardly a liberal.

Yes, it's time to fight and it's long overdue.

She’ll have two years to get things in order. I wonder if she’s going to shut up and stick to filling potholes in her district now?

Knowing Michelle, not a chance! Filling obnoxious pieholes, yes! We're not dead here in Minnesota, and have no desire to be. At least the portion of thinking Minnesotans.

Good. We are going to need her to expose Obama and the Demonrats. She needs to stand strong and go nuclear. The GOP is dead. This country is essentially dead and we need someone strong like Bachhman to speak up and stop with the pleasantries when the Demonrats will do whatever to destroy opposition.

I agree strongly but there is no need to bash Hulshof as some kind of liberal scum, he’s not.

What we really need is another Contract with America. A national conservative/reform platform.

Washington is a cesspit of corruption and incompetence. The media is a swirling pit of hate and despair. People are sick of politicians and their BS. The GOP’s road out of the wilderness is the road of reform.

We need to give people something simple and powerful to believe in. Something based on conservative principals but able to capture the fancy of swing voters. Do that and we will start retaking ground.

Agreed, we need the conservatives to rise up and have a platform that begins immediately. Obama campaigned for two years - we must form a conservative ‘contract’ again and move on it.

“thinking Minnesotans”

Not enough of them. Just like there aren’t enough thinking Americans.

How can we elect good candidates when half the population is of below normal intelligence?

I honestly don’t know. Karl Marx did his job well, is all I can say. I’ll be fighting that dead b*stard till the day I die. I guess I should correct that. Marx is alive and well in the democrat party.

Good for her! Tom McClintock is ahead in California’s 4th congressional district by about 500 votes. Cross your fingers for our guy.

Jay Nixon is a douche. Have fun MO.

Jay Nixon will run into a "wall" in the Mo. legislature. It is still controlled by very Conservative Republicans. I talked to one of them last night at our election watch party. He said they where going to call him tomorrow and pledge to work with him,but what was unsaid "do anything stupid (Like trying to raise taxes.)and you are not going anywhere."

“We cannot play nice the next 4 years.”

One of the biggest strengths of the Democrats is that they stick with their fellow Democrats through thick and thin and do whatever it takes to defend that person.

Our problem is that we too often leave our best and brightest to fend for themselves.
