I'm going to wait a few days myself. If I see a continuation of the over-the-top contentious behavior I have seen on here during the campaigns, I will be bidding farewell also. I've given it strong consideration.

Yes, and anger is certainly one of the stages of dealing with grief, and some will display it more than others. I guess it will just have to run its course.
In recent weeks I’ve vented my frustration in freepmail a time or two. Others may need to do so more publicly, and I have some understanding of the motivation to vent.
I would urge waiting more than a few days. It will take some time to settle out. Any voice of reason and good cheer will be needed here, so if you do decide to take a respite from FR hurry back real soon. Your posts over the years have been an encouragement to more than a few people.
You cannot leave allegra... you are one of the few friends that I have here... we all need you.
