Goodbye, ya'll...

Well you folks, I recently passed the 10 year mark under this screen name and was here for a while before that under another screen name.

I love you all and will miss wasting my time here.... But that is what it has been, a waste.

Our once proud nation, today admitted that it has become a pathetic bunch of losers who are no longer proud to be Americans,

I have written here and spoken to friends and associates that; I don't fear an Obama presidency, I fear a fellow citizenry who would be so pitiful and wanting and niave and avaricious that it might elect someone like Obama to be POTUS.

So I shall find some new way to spend my time, money and energy, and hopefully it will be in an arena that is more effective in defeating the virus of socialism and/or "pure" democracy.

You folks are great and I admire your points of view...but we have failed to a degree that is far beyond where I thought we could go...

Our Great Country needs to develop a new faction that has greater integrity and commitment, and failing that, it is done...

I pray that I am wrong...but you know that old discription of insanity....

Best to you all and I hope you make a difference but my faith is wasted.

Give him slack?

I say give him 100% support so he can get up and enjoy his OJ/Coffee or what ever.

Freepers should support in times (such as these) not nail the dude to a cross in the name of FR...

I hope he comes back and says he feels mucho granda better.

“Truly saw this coming, knew it the day McCain became the party’s choice. Didn’t like him then, don’t like him now... But, I worked hard for, voted and donated for him.”

Me, too.

But I guess, after all, there IS one bright spot to all of this - McCain won’t be President.

I love this country. Its been a proud beacon of enlightenment for too long to allow me to give it up! I also have been here ten years and unless I'm dead or have been sent to a reeducation camp I'm not going anywhere!

Tor is a good anonymous proxy network, and much more. You can even host an anonymous website within it.

Not too hard to set up either. And once set, you don’t have to play around with constantly changing Anon. server addresses. Doesn’t slow you down like proxy software programs.

I guess you can say it is also an internet on the internet as well, because many users are also nodes. Like the internet, your pakets go through multiple server nodes, with the exeption none of your info is kept on them that can be tracked back. It’s unique in a lot of ways, which you’ll see when you do some reading on the page I sent you.

Hey that’s what I do as well. I don’t need to, I have plenty of money, but I like being completely self sustained, I’m even off the electric grid most of the time. You never know when the power goes out around here, or for how long. In the winter after a blizzard, it could be for days.
I don’t do the goat thing however, but I’ve been thinking about it lately. They might make good self propelled automatic lawn mowers. Do they? or do they wreck the turf?

Hey Positive I rarely get depressed.

But today was the most depressing day I can remember—since 1997. Let me ramble a bit.

Back in time, a year before Monica, many of us could tell that this country was heading for the toilet.

That was when Clinton and Chinagate and Charlie Trie and Johhny Chung and John Huang and Wen Ho Lee and Los Alamos and W88 Nukes and Hughes and Loral and Bernie Schwartz and The Cox Committee etc etc were 99.9% ignored by the media and the American people.

There was no question in my mind. Clinton was gone. Americans would not tolerate treason. But—the “economy” was more important and the “citizens” expressed no big deal.

When Waxman was ignored when he publicly offered Johnny Chung a deal (bribe) if he would refuse to testify—lie like the others did, and when Fred Thompson’s Senate probe was shut down by that back-stabber John Glen(D)to bury the Chinese-Clinton connection, etc, again no big deal. (As a reward for his “services” Clinton got John Glenn on the next space ride)

So when Monica popped up in January 1998, the real Clinton High-Crimes were buried forever. (This was the time many of us found FreeRepublic)

And now enter Obama. The train is going thru the tunnel and there ain’t no light at the end.

I feel like crap also.
But when half the country pays NO tax, and 30% of the US population is foreign born—non English speakers, added to 20 million illegals who don’t speak English or pay tax and will soon qualify for welfare and retirement rolls, and when Obama opens the borders even wider to the 3rd World, the add on his “redistribution of wealth”-—there is no upside I can see.

It is — GAME OVER.

The conservatives did win in Canada. Harper is the best Prime minister they’ve had in decades.

Thanks, FRiend. :)

I'll give it a few days. It has been astonishing how nasty some of these people have been lately. People that I used to think well of have turned their ugliness on me.

I have put every one of them back in their places, but it gets exhausting.

Thank you for being you. I mean that. :)
