The Democrats 'One Big Shot'
Vanity | Mel Russell

Posted on 11/04/2008 9:52:54 PM PST by melsec

Now the Democrats have their one big shot at putting in place the sort of policies that they believe will change the USA and the world.

TOPICS: Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: elections; future; obama
Do they actually have to b#lls to go ahead and do it or will Obama be the middle of the road type leader that they say he was when heading up the Harvard Law Review.

Should they actually go for it then the USA and the world for that matter will never be the same again! The expectations on this man will be enormous from those people who expect him to pay for their rent and gas to the ultra radical lefties who will want him to not only change the political landsacpe but also put pressure on the religious conservatism that America has long enjoyed.

But it is really in the field of International politics that causes most Conservatives outside of the USA most concern. His support for Hamas and lack of support for Israel and his intentions to appease Muslims give rise to fears that for a time he will appease these people and in doing so will give them more reason to believe that their twisted world veiw is correct and that Allah is indeed with them. He cannot meet their real demands and even if for a time peace comes sbout through the appeasement of our enemies it is surely a peace we will all have to apy a price for.

Today I am sad for my friends in the USA and for those on this site who are good and honourable people who first and foremeost want the best for their country.

God Bless you all,

Mel

If they manage to socialize health care, It will never be repealed.

That must be stopped at all cost.

Like I say, the Demonrat myth will die but the mock ‘elections’ will continue. Demonrats can have their pride in taking America down. The enemy within has succeeded. Now onto the next life.

Watch the Senate Republicans go weak in the knees and give Lord Obama everything he and his gang wants. All in the spirit of "bipartisanship".

I'm disgusted...

We have a mix of Priavte and socialized health care here in Oz. It started out great but as the population ages it is getting to be a monster to manage and almost impossible to get into an emergency department unless you are actually dying. Once you get into hospital, care is still very high - I tend to put that down to the dedication of Doctors and Nurses rather than the system itself.

Prophecy from 1986:

The Masked Jackal

I saw his face, on every channel
His slogans in all the papers
I heard people, repeat his words
I saw them shouting, his flag in their hands
I saw him making promises
I heard him talk about life
But I saw his fingers too
They were crossed behind his back

Darling...of the TV screen
Manipulator...of the purse strings
Master...of the spoken words
Jackal...with connections
Worshipped...by the masses
Leader...with ulterior motives

His slate, clean as snow
Covers over his dark past
To be in league with workers
Pictures he loved to see
But I read in his eyes
Promotion...reality
He played his part to the end
Shot...leaving a shambles
