The Dems were never in the wilderness. When they lost the senate for those few years under Bush, they still had a very powerful minority. The pendulum never swung as far to the Right as it had, and is tonight to the Left.
Spend NOTHING! Buy as much stuff as you can from the used market, grind the economy to a halt. And try as much as you can to avoid spending even a penny in the states that went for Zero, they need to be punished severely.

I use dogpile.com which is a meta search engine; it combines searches from about 8 - 10 different sources. I think they’re objective; I don’t think they lean either way.
I think a lot of its based on who and for what causes they give money to.
Just start buying what you need on craigslist if you can. Avoid sales tax. Start buying used items. Avoid the taxes when you can. Start developing some relationships with others in your area. You may find you can find someone you can trust and develop a source for things you need. You may have something(s) they need too.
Thanks for posting this. Only some of it is surprising, but it is still good to keep in mind.

I think a more effective strategy is to put greedy Americans on a severe diet. “Starve the beast”, as one FReeper aptly put it. Every time you walk into a store of any kind, whether it’s a clothing store, bookstore, deli, whatever, ask yourself, “how do I think this person voted?” It will be easier to answer with some people than others, especially depending on where you live. Where I live, I think I can approach 99% certainty in a LOT of cases. Then, ask yourself, “is there any way, ANY WAY AT ALL, that I can avoid supporting this person’s paycheck? Is there any way I can compensate for the $500 Obama Check(tm) that this person will steal from my wages? Use your imagination — I’m sure you can.
1. KEEP your old car. Detroit unions share a LOT of blame for MI going Dem year after year. If you’re a fan of American cars as I am, fine, but KEEP YOUR RIDE. It’s cheaper to keep it running than to buy new, and you’re starving the beast in the process. If the industry crashes, perhaps you’ll be doing MI a favor in the very long run when they won’t be beholden to those unions.
2. NEVER buy movies — buy a Hauppauge capture card and a $50 DVD burner. Buy Sage TV for DVR software. You’ll have hundreds of dollars in a short while and NOT ONE CENT will go to Hollywood. I made that decision years ago.
3. Don’t eat out, cook instead, even if it’s from the frozen food section. How did those restaurant workers vote? I’ll bet I can guess with surprising accuracy.
4. Needle and thread isn’t for wusses. It’s just a wrench for your clothes. “The right tool for the right job”, as our fathers and grandfathers used to scream at us. Save your dollars.
5. “Did I make interest work for me today?” Write it on an index card NOW. I literally just did that and I have it on my TV as a constant reminder. Don’t spend your hard-EARNED — EARNED!!! — dollars on greedy losers who want to steal from you. Make your money work for you, not them.
Email and share. Append your ideas as you can. Please. It’s time to hang together.
“Cant we be the loyal opposition without becoming DU-lite or RightWingKos?”

Sorry, but money is the mother’s milk of politics. Without income, lib organisms wither.
It’s hard to see how some of these companies did as much damage as other big names which supported the MSM with their advertising dollars. For example, Coors Beer (which is junk anyway) was once owned by conservatives (I don’t know if they still are), but their ad spending makes them a major enabler of the Leftist propaganda machine.
“Cant we be the loyal opposition without becoming DU-lite or RightWingKos?
Loyal Opposition? Sure... But, that doesn’t mean we have to support their supporters with OUR FEW REMAINING DOLLARS.
Why would you knowingly give money to the opposition?
Silly? Not in the least. I vote with my wallet EVERYDAY.
True. Breyer's is way better ice cream. The only problem is that Breyer's bought Ben and Jerry's a few years ago - I think.
Shut down the asshats that foisted this fraud on us, until we can get deliverance in 2012.
AV was founded as a research project within Digital Equipment Corporation and spun off after Compaq acquired Digital. I used to work there. They are not conservatives.
This is a great list of suggestions. I’ll buy my gun safe tomorrow so I can get keep the guns I inherited from my dad in the house with the kids. Then I’ll stay out of the stores as much as possible.
bttt
Don’t forget “Tom’s Toothpaste” AKA Tom Allen
Well, It should be easy for everyone to boycot LL Bean. Cabelas is better, cheaper, and supports our team.
Cabelas even has a program where you add $1 to your bill and they donate it to the NRA.
Uh, Craig from Craig's List is a flaming lib.
Love your post!
This is exactly what needs to be done. And I am so on board.
They can take my money, but they can’t make me give it away.
