She’s the reason we weren’t utterly blown out.

Can we even imagine what the numbers would be if McCain hadn’t picked Palin?

Hell no! Sarah’s the reason why I worked on the McCain campaign. Sign me up for the Sarah 2012 team!

I agree. Sarah Palin united this party. The only good thing about McCain was that he chose Sarah Palin - now we have a future star!

The only reason I gave more money than I could afford to for McCain Palin was Palin. The elitist snob RINO’s sure helped “The One” this go round.

Amen! I just posted a similar thought here:

Palin Plans to Remain on GOP's National Stage

Agreed. I had the same thought. Will Michael Medved blame Sarah Palin at some point in the next few months? Which of the others will do so? We'll see. But if I hear it on talk radio, I will call up immediately to challenge the person who does it.

Would they credit Biden for Obama’s win?

Ain’t that the truth. Already, those soft-ass pusses who have been running this party are gearing up to put blame on Palin, who was the only significant factor on our side in this entire election, primaries included. Screw them.

You miserable little punks in the media, you better leave Sarah alone.

Just take my word for it.

I must say I got a kick out of the “Rino Vichy” description...perfect!

Sarah was the only reason McCain didnt get clobbered.

I don’t blame Palin, I blame RINOs like McCain and Jorge Bush for destroying the GOP.

HAHAHHAHHHAAHAHA!!!

Of course they will blame Sarah!

They would have to admit some responsibility if they blamed themselves. Ain’t happening, no way. These pukes wouldn’t even defend Reagan.

A pox on their house!!

The only reason I voted was because Palin was named VP.

Otherwise, I would have stayed home. Period.

I understand all this but I think Jindal will turn out to be even better than Sarah by 2012, though.

Yes, the thing I dread the most is to see Sarah villified. She’s my hero and my kids love her. She gave us all hope like Reagan once did. I cannot tolerate any bashing of her.

There will be plenty of east coast Republicans and newspaper columnists ripping Palin, but they will be mocked and laughed at by almost ALL Republicans. Palin brought out the base and enthusiasm and kept R turnout decent.

Newspaper editors might like it, but ripping Palin won’t go far with those writer’s customers. Would you buy a Peggy Noonan book? Didn’t one just come out? Bet it’s not on your local bestseller list.

Obama will have won because the republican-leaning mushy middle of the electorate has bought the “Republicans ruined the economy” storyline hook, line & sinker. And the rarely-vote mushy middle got caught up in the religious fervor surrounding Obama.

But there’s time for post-mortems another time. But Palin was a net PLUS in this electoral atmosphere and any Republican with political aptitude not poisoned by beltway coffee klatches can see it.
