"Police departments in cities across the country are beefing up their ranks for Election Day, preparing for possible civil unrest and riots after the historic presidential contest," reported The Hill, a Washington, D.C.-based newspaper and Internet site, on October 21.
The article continued:
Public safety officials said in interviews with The Hill that the election, which will end with either the nation's first black president or its first female vice president, demanded a stronger police presence.
Some worry that if Barack Obama loses and there is suspicion of foul play in the election, violence could ensue in cities with large black populations. Others based the need for enhanced patrols on past riots in urban areas (following professional sports events) and also on Internet rumors.
Similar articles have broached the issue and the Internet is rife with speculation about possible post-election violence.
One of the hints frequently pointed to is a statement by Democratic Party campaign strategist James Carville on CNN:
But you stop and contemplate this country if Obama goes in and he has a consistent five point lead and loses the election, it would be very, very, very dramatic out there.

Have some faith in our fellow Americans regardless of their political views, this is not a 3rd World country....if anything happens pray for the law enforcement to quell it ASAP and with no/minimal harm to lives and/or property...
Chances are we wake up tomorrow morning with no clear winner, suits and countersuits over “voting irregularities” being filed in Ohio, Colorado, Pennsylvania and other close states, and the networks airing the biggest Nonstop Left Wing Whinefest in recorded history.
There will be violence no matter who wins. All of it will originate from the leftists because they love nothing better than a good shot of adrenaline mixed with a dash of tear gas and a whole lotta anarchy.

BINGO ! The obamunists will trash major cities win or lose. Look what happened to Philly after they won the World Series. The city was trashed. I work near downtown Atlanta, and expect something to happen here.
We have seen the underclass looting and committing arson when a local sports team wins, thus I would fully expect to see the same with an Obama win. If Obama loses in a close race I expect to see the same.

Oh, absolutely. My county has about 45,000 people. The black families here are ALL rednecks and the Hispanics as well. There are also many Chinese. They are ancestors of those who built the railroads in the 1800’s. They’ve either left the urban hell they were in or have been here forever. They’re knuckledraggers just like the rest of us. Now, the illegal alien element growing dope in our forests next door is an entire different matter. That accounts for about 50% of our law enforcement efforts.
