Pennyslvania Governor: Voter turnout looks good- but not as high as he hoped in Philadelphia
Philly.com ^ | 11/04/2008 | Chris Brennan

Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell told reporters this afternoon that he is "optimistic, but by no means overconfident" about Barack Obama's chances in the state.

Speaking at the city political establishment's annual luncheon at the Famous 4th Street Deli in Queen Village, Rendell said that voter turnout "looks to be good all over the state," and is "going to be very good" in Philadelphia - although not as high as he had hoped.

That may be good news,I voted in Lancaster County[the most conservative county in Pa. at 7 a.m. this morning ,there was a line at that time !!

Excellent! I love to hear these accounts of high voter turnout in red areas.

A scared voters is a motivated voter!

Why don’t you go and place a bet on intratrade markets?

They are betting Obama takes PA by 94% to 8%.

You would make a killing, if you can put your money on what you so strong believe.

C’mon lets go!

Everyone get rich now!

prepping for 'he shoulda paid da street money.'

If it's true that he didn't that would be the pinnacle of arrogant stupidity. In Philly, "money talks bullshit walks". I've run into a bunch of his dewy faced female volunteers because I am retired and walk 6 miles a day. If he thinks they're going to do it for him he's nuts. They're just future crime victims.

Rendell’s idea of a poor turn out is that Philly precincts are only reporting 110% vice 125% of registered voters.

That's right..lol Don't trust these dems and what they say. Go VOTE!

I see that FOX News has been calling it for Obama all day.

McCain “way behind”, Blah, blah, blah, bla........

Posting all the warped polls and electoral garbage that show Obama in a landslide. So far, it’s all been Obama this, Obama that, Mack “struggling”, Obama lover after Obama lover being interviewed, it’s very sickening.

Please! Let McCain win to show the media how out of touch they truly are.

I think PUMA Power is going to be bigger than anyone can predict.

Folks who think the PUMAs are the cat's pajamas should be careful what they wish for. PUMAs still favor a socialist. They just demanded that the socialist be a female. And if McCain thinks he's beholden to these people for his office....

"We are happy today to be standing side by side with the Nation of Islam. We believe, like the Nation of Islam and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad believe, in a nation of our own. We believe in a Black first philosophy and a Black Liberation Theology. We don’t worry about the criticism. We love all of those who labored in the Panther Party from the ’60s. Many are with us today."

From the article: REVOLUTIONARY HEROES

"On May 1st, May Day [1969], the day of the gigantic Free Huey rally, two of Alioto's top executioners vamped on the brothers from the Brown Community who were attending to their own affairs. These brothers, who are endowed with the revolutionary spirit of the Black Panther Party defended themselves from the racist pig gestapo.

Pig Joseph Brodnik received his just reward with a big hole in the chest. Pig Paul McGoran got his in the mouth which was not quite enough to off him.

The revolutionary brothers escaped the huge swarm of pigs with dogs, mace, tanks and helicopters, proving once again that "the spirit of the people is greater than the man's technology."

To these brothers the revolutionary people of racist America want to say, by your revolutionary deed you are heroes, and that you are always welcome to our camp."

My experience with Hillary supporters is that you could torture them with Reagan audiotapes for weeks and they would never admit that they or Hillary were socialists.

Hillary allowed them to continue this delusion,
Barry’s just way too open about it.

Some have switched over to 0bama, though, and moved their denial onto him.

PUMAs still favor a socialist. They just demanded that the socialist be a female Hillary.

PUMAs wanted Hillary, not just any female. PUMAs are a textbook example of politics creating "strange bedfellows".

And, the funny thing is, I think he’s relishing the 0bama pending loss. He’s in tight with Hillary.

Rendell is used to being a big wheel. He was Chairman of the DNC in 2000, and is currently chairman of the National Governors Association. I think that he may (correctly) think that Obama would want him replaced with a more reliable Obama loyalist. It may be to Rendell's personal advantage that Obama loses and the Clintons owe him a big favor.

Well, a lot of the taxpaying 'Rats I know have recently discovered just what the heck socialism means, and they've discovered they don't like it. And that the gender and/or skin color of the practioner doesn't matter a dang. They're recovering 'Rats, God bless 'em. Nothing like an imminent confiscatory assault on one's bottom line to get one's butt in gear :)
